I have been watching the prices from Dayton Oh to Orlando and for the last 2 months, they were holding steady at about $215. Well when I heard of the possible price cuts in some of their fares on Monday, I kept checking every hour or so. I checked here (Delta website) at work yesterday (Tues) and they didn't change and then again after dinner at home. Well the prices had dropped to $168. Never have I seen them lower than $185 flying outta here to MCO. I jumped on this quick! I'm so happy.
I love my shedule I got but I checked this morning and a few more dropped to $162 but the times of the flights aren't as good as the ones I got.

So if you are looking, check DELTA! :earseek:

I have been wacthing for our May trip for months now. It started out at 232.00 per person. About 2 months ago it dropped to 188.90. However through March the rate is 166.90. So I am hoping that it may drop again. This a a direct flight from SAV, Georgia to MCO. This is a new flight and it only take a little over 1 hour and beats the heck out of the 6 hour drive. I did check again today after watch Good Morning America but the rates haven't change yet. :guilty: I am glad they somebody got a deal. :flower:

I have been lurking at their site too and watching rates. Rates from here (MCI) have run 206-212. Looked this morning, still no break.

I'm paying $140 from Boston to Orlando in June with Song. I'm sure they won't go any lower than that. But, you never know!!

Not fair! Delta is still $366 R/T from Tulsa to Orlando. That's in June. Maybe it's still too far out. Hope they drop before too much longer. Has anyone found cheap flights from here? Thanks :confused3

I can't get through on the website! There must be a ton of people checking prices or something! I'm dying here!

Delta's website does appear to be overloaded! You might try using something like Expeida just to give you an idea. (DL website may be cheaper but who knows) They sent ALL of their Frequent Flyers with email accounts an email and I would bet that most of us (me included) have hopped over there to check out the deal!

I got through after trying a few times. Our flights for Bangor have been reduced from $250pp to $217 pp, but with a $50 fee per ticket change, it is not worth it yet to change!

At 11am on Weds 01/05/05 I could not hit www.flysong.com or www.delta.com Not sure if they are swamped, or if they are down due to Delta's new "simplifare" program that they just confirmed.

We booked our flight from LaGuardia to MCO on Song (Delta owned and operated) for $165.00 r.t. per person in February. Some flights are booking at $59.00 oneway. Check it out.

Finally got through and the fare went UP $3!!! What's up with that!!! Shoot! I had my credit card sitting here all ready to purchase if something good came up. Oh well, still have some time because we aren't going till the end of May. Hope others are able to get some deals!

$366!!! Jeez!!!!

I've been watching fares from SAT to MCO for early June. I was able to check the simplifare. It went UP $50 to $346. I hope we can book sometime n the $200 to $240 range. Otherwise, we will drive.

I have been unable to get on the website all morning...will keep trying though!

A person with Delta was just interviewed on the news (since I live in a hub city). He said this new pricing structure will mainly benefit people who buy tickets last minute. He said for instance without advance purchase the highest price for coach now is $500 one way and $600 first class one way. And people who are just booking regular advance purchase like they always have won't see that big a difference.

I wouldn't fly Delta again if it were free. I know every airline has its problems but we had the worse experience with Delta the last two weeks. We flew to Utah and got stuck at the Cincinatti airport for 7 hours while they tried to fix a plane. When that didn't work the flew one from Vegas. There were 3 other Delta flights at that pier that were also running hours behind. On the way home we were stuck again in Cincinatti due to flight crews not showing up. There again was another Delta flight waiting for their crew too. Never again for us will we fly Delta!

Joe! One hundred dollars?!?! Thats awesome!!!! :D
