My hubby just told me we can take a quick trip March 20-25. We are AP holders so we have tickets, now we need a room. All moderates and values are booked in WDW, so we need to go offsite. I have checked every site, hotelmart, easyclick, orbitz... and I haven't a clue on what to book.

I realize it's Easter week :flower1: so we are seeing higher rates. We need to keep this a budget trip and don't want to spend more than $75 a night. I don't want to try priceline because I really would like to know where I am staying. PLEASE those of you who know how to search out great deals, help us out. I want to be close to Disney and the hotel has to be decent (no yucky ones). I know this is a tall order, I was checking out the Radisson Worldgate and that was even coming up $90 (use to be $45 :badpc: ). So any help would be appreciated.

Thanks and I so do appreciate any search and find techniques you can implement

I have heard there can be good deals at www.travelzoo.com

I think you would be ok with PRiceline or maybe Hotwire.. www.betterbidding.com helps you figure out what hotel is coming up for Hotwire at least..they are a bit more higher then Priceline

You can also see what has been coming up on Priceline on that board and the "other" one www.biddingfortravel.com

If you stay 3* and up you shouldnt be disappointed in what you get..

Cypress Point looks really nice. THe price is right too, plus you get a full kitchen.

Does anyone know the web address directly to the hotel instead of going thru hotel kingdom or other broker sites?

http://www.cypresspointe.net/ is the site for Cypress Pointe. We didn't think about going directly through the resort for reservations because we thought the Hotelkingdom rates were very good.

Emme,

Unfortunately it looks as though your dates are sold out for CP for that time frame. It will probably be tough for you to find someplace nice for that rate during Easter week. Wish I had some ideas...sorry! Good luck!

You could try Sky Auction, however, before you bid, email them and ask if the room they have up for auction is still available. You can sometimes get some awsome deals. You can read reviews of the places on a site called trip advisor.

I just searched villadirect and they still have one 2 bedroom condo for $65.00 for March 20-25,the rest of what they have left is pretty pricy so I would hurry. The condo is in Windsor Palm. I booked a condo with villadirect in December and it was fabulous!! Windsor Palm is a gated neighborhood and my extensive research beforehand led me to this neighborhood and I was very happy with it. The villadirect site has slide shows of each condo and it's gives you a great idea of what you are getting. And so close to Disney - we clocked it at 7 minutes one day...

Good Luck.
