Anyone want to critique my plans? Please?

Kim Possible is free :thumbsup2 We have had 5 great stays at CSR and if it wasn't for our DVC it would be our resort of choice:goodvibes My only comment with your plan would be the day you have the morning at AK followed by TL - I would swap them round. Have a slower morning at TL then take advantage of pre-booked FP and the fact AK empties mid afternoon to finish off A K. All kids are different but our Dd has never had any issue with late nights And early morning however it takes 3 or 4 days for her to be able to stay awake until the late fireworks. She is nearly 6 but she has been going since she was under 1. Other things we have found that work for us are having a character breakfast the first morning meaning we are not tied to a reservation later in the day so we can eat a bit earlier if necessary (not too early though as it doesn't help you adjust)

The only thing with that is that TL opens at 10am (whereas animal kingdom opens at 9), and then AK closes at 7. Do you think we'll have enough time to do both? What time do you think we should leave TL?

I would agree with this 100%. Because of time difference your first morning your awake super early, add in the first day excitement, heat etc, to have a meal in the evening is a big ask. We usually have our meal at lunch time and then go back to the pool and by early evening we're usually in our room exhausted :-)

Hmm yea I will see if there's an earlier reservation!

I would get to TL for opening spend a couple hours and head back to CSR around lunch time.

Although. AK is only open till 7 most things will be walk on after 4 and possibly even earlier now there is no parade. With a good use of FP you should get most things done you want to. Plus it will be your second visit there so you should be good :thumbsup2

Heading for WP in the summer in the afternoon can be hit or miss as they close the pools & slides if there is lightening in the area.

Brilliant thanks! Do the shows (Lion King and Nemo especially), still play in the evening?

I haven't seen the new schedule for Lion King yet but I know Nemo has a show about 5pm.

The best thing to do is a mix of rides and shows on both visits and just look at the times guide to see when they are on :goodvibes

Yea we will probably do Lion King on the first visit and Nemo on the second. That sounds like a plan! Thanks!

My advice would be if you are moving between parks in a day, make sure you leave plenty of travel time as it can take longer to get connections from parks to resorts than you may expect.
Sometimes you can be really lucky and there's a bus there waiting for you and other times you can be waiting a while (of course if you've got a car, then you don't have to worry about this so much) :)

First trips are absolutely magical, proper goosebump moments!

As others have mentioned, prepare to wake up very earlier on the first day!!
