Anyone used the National KLM or 1234567 Code yet?

Actually have picked up a car and used either of these codes yet? A co-worker is going in August and while I don't mind trying out codes I'm hesitant to give them to him because I haven't used them yet.

So has anyone used them yet?

I used the KLM code in March and have another car booked with it in July. No issues whatsoever!

That "code" looks very suspicious (unless it somehow changed from when the OP typed it?).

But if you want to use an(y) airline's FF discount code, just join their mileage club online.

I have used the KLM code multiple times and have had no issues. If they do ask, I can show them that I do belong to KLM Flying Blue.

I just used the KLM code out of SFO and ended up paying less than half for a mini-van vs. Budget and Dollar. Already reserved a car in Orlando for November. No problems and did not have to show any additional id/documentation for the code.

I meant to say, if you're worried about using an airline FF code for a car rental discount, just join that mileage club; make yourself eligible

I just googled "national car discount codes" and I swear I am looing at 200 different codes and coupons.

So the only requirement to use this code is to be a KLM Blue member? This isn't meant for international travel? I'd love to be able to use this code in Oct. It's the cheapest rate so far.

Anyone can sign up for frequent flyer miles with an airline - just go to the KLM website and sign up - The only draw back with that code is that you can't cancel or modify the reservation online - you will have to contact National.

But it is the best code I have found - I am member of the emerald club so all I have to do is book a midsize collect my luggage walk across the road and pick out my car. If I find a coupon that will lower my price with the KLM code I just have to book it but I will need to go to the counter prior to going across the street. (atleast that is what has been said on this board).

I used a coupon code ($35 off weekly) in March and was not required to go to the counter. Just picked my car and headed out. Are others being sent back in to the counter from the gate?

No, I had read whenthe thread when it the code was first discovered that people that used a coupon their reservation said that they had to go to the counter. If you didn't and didn't have a problem then that is great.

I won't be using the code until December so I am very happy to hear this.

My rate for December with KLM Flying Blue Code was still better though.

Where did you find the 1234567 code? That isn't the same as the KLM code if I recall...

It is the same as the KLM cose...I saw it on another post but it gave my co-worker the same price as the KLM code.

He got $203 for 7 days for a mid-size, Emaerald Aisle using the KLM code and a BJ's coupon. He's going to keep checking as his dates get closer.
