I thought it was now. My parents are @ SSR now and my dad called the front desk and a women told him it was now. But they were not sure how it billed???!!!!!!!!!

Guess the confusion is still continuing. When at SSR a few weeks ago, we called and asked. Were told that it is not free yet. Shortly after the conversation a CM called us back and told us it was. She referred to something in the perks book which we couldn't locate. So we just plugged in. The charges did appear on our bill and when we said that we had been specifically told that it was free, they were reversed.

when we moved to VWL we asked the same questiosn and were told it wasn't free so we just didn't plug in. Figured that we just got lucky at SSR.

i would imagine in the next few months it should be free throughout.

so wired isn't or is it free now for DVC at SSR?

What kind of a jack do you plug it into? Phone? Modem/usb? Is wireless available at all? I'm not the most techy person, and I never thought to find out what kind of cord we might need, if any. Glad this topic came up!

You will have something hanging in the closet when you check in that will have everything tht you will need to plug in.Or thats where it was when we used it at BWV.

So we don't need to bring any cords or anything special with us... that's good news.

Thanks!

Personally I'd bring an ethernet cable just to be safe.

I will tell you at OKW that there is an ethernet jack in the living room. It's behind the end table with the phone on it. Plus there is one at the desk. So if you have two computers you could wire into both. So bring an extra cable. Plus if you have a portable router you could set up your own wireless room. Just make sure it's secured.
