You drink 2 shots a day, with your 2 largest meals. They taste like vanilla, but I have to chase it with something to mask the flavor. The main ingredients are palm oil and oat oil. When you take it with your meal, it just fills you up faster, and you eat less. For some reason, it works!
Oh, I hadn't heard of SlimShots before! Instead, a couple of times I've purchased a product from England called SlimThru. I have found Slimthru to be helpful, but having it shipped in from England has been
very expensive and inconvenient, so I haven't been taking it often.
I just did a Google search for SlimShots, and it seems to be the same product as SlimThru. The active ingredient ("Fabuless," which is made by a company called DSM ) is the same in both, but for an American like me, it's much cheaper to buy SlimShots than to import SlimThru from England.
It seems that SlimFast now has a product, "HungerShots", that contains the same active ingredient, but it seems to only be available in England so far.
The website for Slimshots says,
"SlimShots™ have been sold around the world for years and is clinically proven." However, I don't think it's true that it's been "sold around the world for years." I think it was offered in a couple of European countries starting in 2007. I do think it's probably safe, though.
Anyway, I am
thrilled to find this product in the US!!!!

Thanks so much for posting about this!!!!
Edited to add: It looks like the active ingredient has been available since 1996 in Europe, but only as an additive to yogurt, not as a stand-alone supplement. I'm not sure how high the dosage was for the yogurt additive. It looks like the stand-alone product has been available in France since 2006. Here is a site with more information:

Anyone know how long SlimShots has been available in the US? The earliest annoucement I can find of it was from just a few weeks ago.
