Anyone use a target red card to buy dcg?

We have booked our vacation for the end of September!

I have read that if you buy a Disney gift card at target and use your red card you can get 5% off. It’s not a huge discount… But every penny counts.

I tried signing up for the red card online, thinking that from now till the end of August when the balance is due, I will most likely be back-and-forth over the border several times. So I could easily buy a couple gift cards each time I go over to help pay for my trip.

I’m having trouble applying for it though, and I’m not really sure what the card is… I thought it was just a discount/club card. Is it a credit card? You seem to only be able to apply for it in store, because I cannot find anywhere on the site, to apply for the card…just to activate

Has anyone done this? Can you explain it to me?

It’s a credit card so not sure how without a social security number one would get one

I’m Canadian and have a red card. It is @ credit card; applied in store.Purchase Disney gift cards frequently. Pay balance immediately after.

Wow his? What did you put for SSN? I lived in the USA for 3 years and couldn’t even get an ATM card on my then husbands acct without a ssn

Just gave my SIN; they knew I was Canadian- I’ve had it for over 10 years

Another question… I’ve read that Sam’s club members and BJ’s members can also get the same discount.

I am not a Sam’s Club member, not sure it would be worth my while to pay the $45 American to join.

But if I knew someone that was a Sam’s Club member, can they buy the gift cards for me?
