Wow what a fast week. It really did fly by. 
I wouldn't exactly say it was our best vacation ever, it had it's ups and downs. But we had a lot of fun!! Boy was it HOT. 
I would swear it was hotter and way more humid than it was last year in August. Wasn't ready for that. Then I was sick for a few days. Nothing terrible, but it's sure not fun being sick at WDW. And unfortunately the BC is not for us. Very beautiful resort, but just a little too much going on there for us. 
We found ourselves hanging out over at the BWI in the evenings to get away from all the chaos at the BC/YC.

Sorry to hear BC is not your ideal resort. I know when we stayed at YC SAB was so busy we never used it, instead opting for the quiet pool.

Now I am dying to know all the details! The BC has always been at the very top of my list so I am all ears waiting to find out what the deal was with it.
That's always something I worry about when traveling to Florida. You just never know what you're going to get with the weather.

I really hate it was so hot for you too. It was REALLY hot and humid here all this past week but now it's cooled off again. I guess it was a fluke thing.
And what a bummer that you got sick! Being sick on vacation is the worst! I'm so sorry you had to deal with that. Sounds like you just had one issue after another. I'm encouraged though to hear that you had some good food and some new adventures!
So I know you just got back, but what are you thinking about for the next trip? I know you guys usually only go once a year, so do you think you'll go again next spring or try a different time. Sounds like you enjoyed going more in the summer. Or are you still hashing out something totally different for your big 2013 adventure? Just curious about your thoughts.
I hate to go into too great of detail about things, because I know so many people on here love the BC and will get very insulted hearing bad things about it. We just had some room issues & mousekeeping issues. And just a personal thing -- we just didn't care for the atmosphere all that much. The pool was always loud & crowded. We just felt like we could never really relax. Crazy hot. But we dealt with it pretty well for the most part. I would rather it be warm outside when I don't feel well than cold.

So sorry to hear that the BC isn't for you- but that's the great thing about WDW, there is something for everyone and you can try somewhere new (or a resort you have previously stayed at) next time!!
That's a bummer it was so hot- I remember from our past May WDW trips that it was very hot that time of year!!
Can't wait to hear all about your trip! I can make ADR's for our November trip next week!

Hey Rinky!! I have to tell you I thought about you this week -- when I walked by the Little Mermaid show in DHS...
We were quite surprised with our lack of love for the BC ourselves.
You guys might really like it -- I know you like the water park feel, so you would probably enjoy it! It just wasn't for us.
It was HOT.
And like I said -- we had some new 'firsts' and lots of good meals. Lots to tell!
As for future plans.........all I will say right now is that there was a very nice BB offer in our room...........
