I know it never rains as much as they say in the Orlando forecast, but dang that is A LOT of rain!!!!!!!!!!

What is up with all that rain??? It's not August for pete sake!! I'll have to look at each day individually and see what the actual % chance of rain it is.....And as we all know, it will change several more times between now and then. At least I hope so -- I didn't buy that many ponchos!

Geez, I hope they don't ask my DH to restrain someone. Although he would probably enjoy it.

At least your temps are lower though. And you know it probably won't rain every day. Even if it does, it won't last long. I'll say one of my special vacation prayers for the weather on your trip. You know I have gotten very good response from God in the past with those prayers! He's even moved hurricanes out of the way before... surely he can get rid of plain rain!

Well our big snowstorm is nothing but cold temps and rain. So far. They got everyone in a panic for nothing. They were saying 6-10 inches on the news. I figured we'd get 2-3, but we got nothing!! The warning is still up though as far as I know, so maybe it's still coming.

You are right, that is the only good thing about our evening flight -- we can sleep in as late as we want and no chance of us being tired when we get there!!



Don't you just hate when people are complaining about heat??? I'd love for it to be hot here in the spring and fall!!


I know, right?! Isn't that the way it always works out? Oh well, the week is going to fly by!

I am always sad when soccer season ends too. I just love watching DS play. He has been been having an awesome season so far. You are right -- 85 is not ideal soccer weather. And neither was 42 yesterday! For us it is usually one or the other, rarely in between.

We come back Sunday May 6. We have a morning flight home. So that's another day lost. I feel like this vacation is going to be so short. I guess we just need to make the most of our days there!!

Girls, girls!! I will trade you one of my summers for one of yours,..in fact, I will give you just 6 weeks..that oughta do it! When the temps hit over 112 and the humidity is 100% you will BEG to go back up north! LOL!!!

I hate it so bad that I drive to the bus stop in the mornings... Two houses away... When it is 60 or under.

All the moms call me the hothouse flower. They don't see me from Oct-April.



As it is, right now I'm sitting on the deck in my bathing suit soaking up the sun.



I'm a happy little flower.

Well at least we got a big fat NOTHING from the terrible snowstorm we were supposed to get yesterday & today!!! Too bad it's cold out though.

I hear ya on the not going outside unless it is above 60! Whenever it is in the 60's and the kids go outside I'm always like -- it's still 20 degrees too cold for me!

Well that's good news about no snow for y'all! I was worried for a bit.

Yep-- sitting in the sun! It's 76 but the sun is hot- not a cloud in the sky.

The whole time I was shopping I was trying to hurry so I could get to my deck!

Oh yeah-- Belle picked her first strawberry off of her vine two days ago! She said it was good but needed another day or two. Of course she needed sugar for it...
