Well, as I was reading through I realized that our likes and dislikes at MK are almost identical to yours. Although you didn't say that you detest the Country Bears and I would say that I do!![]()
I definitely think that staying at the Poly made you enjoy MK more on your last trip. Did you feel that way about Epcot when you stayed at the Boardwalk?
I think that's a great idea to wait and get groceries with the rental car!!!Very smart!
To answer your questions from earlier... I had sworn off cruising for a while but my DH and DD are nagging the crap out of me to go back this year. They loved it so much! And I did too, I'm just really worried about getting sick again. That was such a bad experience. And if we do cruise again, it will have to be at the end of our trip which means the day the cruise ends, we will be driving home for 10 hours. If we have another bad experience and are up all night, there is no way we will be able to drive all day. So I'm kind of worried about it. Honestly, I'm trying to talk DH into going to Discovery Cove one day and save the cruise for 2013. Wish me luck with that. Oh and it would be another 3 day cruise. I know now what I liked and didn't like so I don't feel pressure to do it all and I think 3 days will be enough.
We have skipped a park on a number of our trips. Sometimes AK, sometimes DHS (I know you wouldn't skip DHS!). It doesn't matter at all!
I agree with Jo - take that car and go to Publix. That's my plan too.
I wouldn't want to ship soda. It would get a bit shaken up I think.
You've had a very productive week!
We are skipping a park this year too. Just not enough days and we don't have hoppers this year. (well, not yet anyway) We're thinking no Epcot this year.I know, the horror!! There really are only two attractions that we REALLY want to ride there, TT and Soarin. Since TT is not going to be up and running while we are there, just doesn't seem like a good use of a day off of our ticket.
All caught up now!
You have accomplished a lot this week! I just love MK, and I love seeing all of your pictures! I love Wishes too, no visit to WDW for me is complete without seeing it!![]()
My Internet was down yesterday and I thought I was never going to get caught up with your PTR.
I read someone mention Cap't Grille at the YC and just wanted to say we had breakfast there on morning you can do the buffet or order ala carte. DH did the buffet and liked it, I order off the menu had the Captains Omelet which was filled with large chunks of lobster and delish! If you like lobster yummy
Horray for getting you tickets!
We skipped AK this trip and did not miss it at all
I an sure your DS is going to love the LL Surprise![]()
MK is definately our 2nd favorite park after Epcot...ok, maybe it's tied with Epcot! AK is our 3rd and DHS is our least favorite. I love TSMM, ToT, RNRC and Star Tours, but that's it. There just is NOT enough to do at that park! Anyways....
The Tiki Room has been refurbished and is back to it's original show!I hated the new version with Iago and Zazu. Maybe give it another try?
Dumbo (one side of it) will be open for good as of tomorrow, so give it a go! The Barnstormer will also be open. The rest of the construction is in full force still.
http://wdwnewstoday.com/Check out this website for aeriel photos of the construction. There is not a lot of walking rom around the Mad Tea Party and the Carousel. They also tore down the old Skyway station and the rumor is that is where the new "Tangled" meet and greet will be located. Merida, from the new movie "Brave", will be meeting in the old "Tangled" area this summer.
The Liberty Square Riverboat is going to be closed for awhile in April, not sure when it's scheduled to reopen; not that it was on your list anyways.
I've heard rumors that Spectro might be coming back this summer.I love the music too!
I'm crossing my fingers that Test Track will be open again by our Sept trip. I've read that it's supposed to go down April 15th. That would make sense because that's after Easter week. Keeping it open for Easter week is a smart idea. When it goes down for it's refurb, they will be adding FastPass at Nemo and Spaceship Earth.
CONGRATULATIONS! on 4 weeks!
Getting closer now!!!!
My BIL and his family are going on their first trip in August. They invited us over tonight to talk Disney!I made a must do's printout for each park and some restaurants I think they'd like. I'm so excited for them. They are gonna think that I'm a freak

I enjoyed the MK picsAnd I have to agree that Stitch is a SKIP!!! I knew this last time and told dd and dh but we had a bit of time and they suggested we give it a try anyway - so against my better judgement we went ahead and TOTALLY regretted it
So take it from me - it's NOT worth it.
Oh wow!! 4 Weeks already!!!!! dang,..this will be the shortest TR I have ever read! LOL!!! I went to Old Navy today too!!! Got a few cute skirts and a few dresses,...I have quite a few colorful tanks and some cute cardigans already,..so instant outfits!!!! I am sure I will wear them to death before we get to go on vacation!!!
I guess you did go shopping!!!!
