I was wondering if it was hard to trade into, and if you enjoyed it.

Thanks in advance for any info!

I haven't been to the resort but can tell you that weeks 52-16 (xmas to easter) will be the hardest to get. And since all units are lockoff's there, a 2 BR is much harder than a smaller unit. It appears to be a quirky resort in that some really like it and others don't. There are at least one or two owners there on this board. Email or PM me and I'll give you the contact of a person who owns there or at least used to. I think he has since sold his weeks there. He owes me a few 100 favors so we can use one to pick his brain on the place, LOL. TUG also has reviews. You can get a lot of info on the MVCI site at http://www.vacationclub.com/resorts/bp/default.jsp

Thanks for the info! I'd be looking at summer most likely.....

I traded there once, but I didn't use DVC. Went in May and got a 2-br.
I enjoyed the resort. It's a highrise building, and I believe all units face the ocean with balconies off both the 1br portion and the studio portion. The units are pretty typical for a Marriott. It sits on top of a 3 floor shopping area that has several restaurants, and it has a parking garage. They limit you to one vehicle per unit, but since it was not peak season, they allowed us to have two vehicles. There is a water taxi stop nearby, and I enjoyed riding up and down the inter-coastal waterway on the water taxi.

I have visited there several times but not stayed overnight (we were staying up the road at Fairfield in Pompano Beach). This is the perfect timeshare to go to if you want to lay on the beach and do some serious partying. It is located on a stretch of AIA that has nothing but bar after bar after bar which are packed with people each night. In our pre-baby days, we would have loved it. The beach access is wonderful - huge beach, although crowded. Tons of restaurant options and shops either right in the complex of the Marriott or within walking distance.

To me, this did not seem the ideal place for younger children. There are other timeshares on the beach in quieter areas that might be better for kids activities in general.
