Anyone there today? 4/15/15

I am flying in tonight and will be in the parks Thursday/Friday. I know crowds pick up towards the weekend but wondering how things are today? Anything new/not published I should know about. I was last there in January. I have read the refurbs and I'm not super interested in the Frozen stuff, so I think I'm good. Any new foods or advice to share? We are bringing friends for the first (and possibly only) visit and want them to fall in love so they come back! How much will the Star Wars convention impact Thursday/Friday? Anyone have any ideas?
