I am getting ready to book a room for my trip in January 2004 and I am curious to see what kind of discounts anyone got this past Jan. for either the WL(woods view up to deluxe room) and the CR(tower). I am going to book at the WL for a woods view, because that is what I can budget without a discount, but my dream would be the CR-tower or a nicer room at the WL. I would love to hear what kind of great deal any of you got at either of these resorts around this time period, so I can see what I might have to look forward to closer to my time for discounts.

Spooky! We are looking at the same thing! The chorus from our h.s. is singing (DD too!) at MK and we thought it would be the perfect time to be groopies! I can't decide which to do....CR Tower or WL. I thought I might book WL and wait until rates come out to see what is available!

Good luck, I hope we get some input...not to mention discounts!!

We were at WL in January - we did woods view for 125 per night (AP rate). We did CR Tower in Jan 2002 for 199 per night (I THINK), which was unheard of - it was an "anyone can use" code.

We stayed at WL Feb. 1-8, 2003, in a courtyard view room for $156 a night, which includes tax ($141 before tax). This was an AP rate. I believe the rate of $125 per night for a wooded view was before tax. The room tax at WL is 11%.

Thanks for sharing. It is good news to hear that they are some good deals. What a great deal at the CR!:D If I only could get that lucky. I finally got my Disney visa so I am going to book the WL woods view for now, until later in the year when discounts come out. Thanks again for the info.
