Anyone surprised the FOTL change doesn't end mid August?

From what I've heard on these boards its going through August. In the middle of August things slow down as all the FL schools are back in session and plenty of others are too busy getting ready for the start of school to plan trips. Just surprised they aren't stopping it Aug 15th.

yes, i am hopeful that they will stop the FOTL changes in mid aug as the hours are much shorter
going forward from 8/23 IOA closes between 6 and 7 pm
UO closes at 7

I think they will change it, but won't confirm until they see how crowds are.

I was hoping they would, since we are going at the end of August in the "slow time". If not, no big deal, this is going to be our best vacation ever.

Just got a reply to my email re: FOTL changes.. and how we are all very unhappy that they did not inform us when reservations were made.. here is my response.. so.... you will all be happy to see....

"Thank you for your e-mail. There have been some changes going on with the Universal Express benefits for on-site hotel guests.

However, some of the restrictions were lifted as of 14 July, while all restrictions removed by 16 August.

For more information, please contact Guest Services on 407.224.4233

We hope you will keep your plans and enjoy all that Universal Orlando has to offer!

Best regards

I will post a seperate subject with this response

thats fantastic news!!!!!!!

That sounds great and I hope its true. Thats why I love to travel in the off season.

I think it would be fairer to make changes when the park hours change. At the moment you get 7 hours of unlimited FOTL access between 3:00 pm and 10:00. When I'm there on August 11th and 12th the parks hours are shorter. I therefore think they should make the unlimited FOTL access available earlier in the day.

Have just seen that they've increased the park hours to 9:00 pm while I'm there so I should have plenty of hours later in the day to take advantage of the unlimited FOTL.:Pinkbounc

I'm glad they changed it....when we will be there the parks close at 6pm. The 3 o'clock rule would really be unfair with the parks closing so early!
