Anyone still looking for August flights?

Finally got all my holiday covered at work today so my final dates are 6th to 27th August. I had originally planned on July as son breaks up early for GCSE's but we decided on a week in Peurto Pollensa at beginning July as Easy Jet sale, plus flight to Majorca in August were just too expensive too justify it really.
So now can start looking at flights. Scary prices at the moment. Last year paid £2500 on Virgin from Gatwick, PE on way back. Would pay that again but if i saw an indirect for £600 with reasonable times I would jump at it, especially in it was on AA as we loved flying with them the year before via Miami.
So anyone else still looking> I think I booked mid Feb last year. Am in Rome from 14th Feb so really hoping that the cheap flights don't come up then.

We go the exact same dates 6/8 to 27/8 ( albeit flying from paris)

I booked around november 5th as the prices were ''acceptable''. Delta, indirect, 1035€pp (around £760pp) taxes are a bit lower than at LGW so prices could compare

I'm glad I booked at that time, because prices have gone up ridiculously. Our flights are now 1750€pp (£1300) and that's just for cattle class economy

Booked in feb for last three years.
2013 I paid £420 indirect Delta
2014 £500 AA indirect

So hoping something will come up.
I could go till Aug 30 but husband has to be back at work. Well he probably doesn't but can't bring himself to ask for the extra holiday!! I have no problem doing that.
