DH and I had a pretty disappointing HM stay last Sept b/c Hurricane Jeanne damaged the HM suite at the GF we were supposed to stay in and we did not have a good overall experience at the hotel. For our first anniversary we have the HM suite at the WL booked and I am praying that it really happens this time andit is a better experience. Please let me know how your stay was! I look forward to hearing about it (good or bad, I can take it!)

I have not stayed in the honeymoon suite but I have stayed at The WL many times. I belive the honeymoon suite is not really a suite just a room with a hot tub...... as far as I was told that was the only diifreance between that and a regular room on the concierge level. I have heard that the WL just remodeled their concierge lounge and it just reopened. I hope you have a great time and I wish I could be of more help.

I love the lodge, it's one of my favorite hotels. I planned on staying in the honeymoon suite for our wedding and in a prior visit got to view one of them. For me it was disappointing. The jacuzzi tub was a combo with shower. The view is not anything exciting and the decor was pretty bland. This is just my personal opinion and I have read many people have really enjoyed the honeymoon room.

There is a new concierge lounge and when we stayed concierge a few years ago the staff was very good.

Hi...is the concierge level just as good then in the WL? We plan on staying there an had been thinking of the HM Suite but maybe the Concierge will be just as good. :sunny:

Here is a link to some pictures of the honeymoon suite.

Personally, I would check into renting DVC points to stay in a one bedroom villa at WL.
The room decor is much nicer and the rooms seems triple the size.
And best of all the price per night will probably be less than the honeymoon suite. Just a thought worth considering.
Good luck with whatever you decide.

Boy, I was really thinking it would be something "more" i guess. With the title of the honeymoon suite, I guess I just expected more.
