We are going to Vero Beach in June and decided to go down a day early to Orlando. We had thought about staying at Pop but found that with tax it would be almost $150. I decided to check around and found a 2 bdr suite at a place called the Fountains for $99. This is a 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen, jacuzzi tub, I think a king in the master and two queens in the second bedroom, 2 bathrooms, it is about 1200 square feet. Just wondering if anyone knows about this place.

Stayed there for a weekend this past winter.
It's nice enough. I woudn't say it's quite up to the DVC, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt level though.

They did have a really nice pool though. (Not the one at the club house which is ok, but the huge new one with slide, water play area, etc.)

Thanks John. We were just looking for a one nighter on the way to VB, sounds like this should more than fit the bill. We want to get as much beach time as we can so we thought we go down a day early and maybe cruise around DTD for a little while before getting up the next am and heading to VB.

The Fountains are right near DTD, on the other side of I-4. It is part of Vistana Resort, which is owned by Starwood. That section of the resort is part of the older section. Each section has been going through a renovation the past year or so.

We are bluegreen owners too and have stayed at the fountains 3 times. They're not Disney, but much nicer than a hotel room.

Ok, there are 2 Fountains.

One is a section of Vistana Resort called the Fountains.

The other is a BlueGreen resort called The Fountains on I-drive near the Premium Outlet Mall and directly across the street from Vistana Villages (not to be confused with Vistana Resort). This resort was formerly called Oasis Lakes.

I stayed at the latter, and assume the OP is staying at that resort also.

Thanks for clearing that up for me. It is the Bluegreen Fountain resort.
