Yes our family did!!! We were there in Nov. right after the changeover.
We had a 2 bed 2 bath suite on the first floor several rooms away from the pool and closer to the parking lot. Our location was great because we didn't do steps--there is no elevator. We had a king in one bed. and 2 queens or dble in the other with a large living/eating/kitchen area in between the 2 bedrooms. It was clean and we were quite pleased. Great for naps and privacy.
The pool area was adequate for the kids (no theming of course) with the washer/dryer area right off the pool.
We didn't utilize the shuttles, we drove to the parks. Though you are right near Cross Keys shopping center and Downtown Disney. It took 15-20 min to get to the parks parking lots. When reviewing the shuttle times they left in the room--i wasn't impressed. They seemed few and far between--but that might be because i was comparing it to Disney Transportation which is every 15-20 min.
The breakfast was a bit disappointing for us. All breads!!! I wasn't expecting much and yet i was still disappointed. The muffins weren't fresh. The fruit was gross. The coffee was always empty. So the kids had cereal and milk ---which is fine--but i would have preferred to give them some fruit (which they enjoy) as well. Bagels were there as well. You could order for an additional cost---waffles or omlettes.
What else can I answer for you? Would we stay again? yes, i think we would. The rate was great $104/night. The suite was big, clean and gave the kids their own space and our privacy as well. There were 3 tvs there. The only disappointment was the free breakfast and the drive to the park---once we realized how long the drive was we just left a bit earlier than we had scheduled--no biggie!!!
drop me a note if you have any other questions!
