Anyone spent New Years Eve at HH?

I just booked a cash reservation for that weekend and wondering if they do New Year's Eve activities/party for the kids and adults and if they have any festivities on New Year's day?

We just spent NYE at HH this year. There isn't a whole lot going on. There is a kids club that evening that goes from about 6-12:30am so you can go out if you want. Other than that, it's pretty tame. We booked a GV - and the cash price with member discount was around $240 a night which is a bargain. We used the fireplace every night. We had 2 other families with us and made our own fun. If you've been to the resort off season before you'll know what to expect. I love the place and have been in the best of weather during high season - and during rain at Thanksgiving and NYE - I always have a great time there....

We have spent New Years Eve at HH for the past two years, and have reservations for this year as well!

The 2002, there were two parties for kids: one for those up to age 12 and one for teens. In 2003, they broke it into three age groups. I can't remember what the exact breakdowns were, but I know that it seemed to work out better for everyone.

There were no planned activities for adults, which was fine with us. We have never liked going out on NYE because of all the "crazies", so we have our own routine of having a nice dinner and champagne at midnight. We have just moved that routine over to HH, LOL!

I just booked 5 nights at DVCHH Cash and the member discount was already gone for 3 of those nights....sounds like Hilton Head is already filling up for NYE...

We have stayed using points at HHI for christmas(1) and new years(3). Our ds has gone to the kids party when he was 9 and 11 and we had to drag him home! He will be 14 next NYE when we are staying there on our way back from OKW. I don't know about the teen scene, but we'll let him decide, We got 1bdroom with cash member discount of $112.50. Thought that was great! Guess we'll watch the ball drop from our HHI villa!
