I was wondering because I listed a few yesterday - A lot of people have books for .01 BUT Amazon charges .99 listing fee. Aren't these people losing money?
I listed a book for $1.00 and when I checked with their selling fees it will cost me $1.14 to them. Doesn't sound right to me.
I have sold books on half.com. It's been a couple of years so don't remember the fees they charge. But is has since been bought by Ebay so maybe the fees are the same.
Unless it's new, I'm not aware of a listing fee at Amazon. I've sold a lot of textbooks, and if your book sells Amazon will take a certain percentage of the price as a commission. I don't think it costs anything to list though.
