Anyone seen this talking Mickey lately?

I'm sure many people have seen this or a like video. It is of Mickey talking in a M&G.

Since this initial testing before summer has it been seen since?

We were just at DL and no talking Mickey. We went to Toontown Madness for the little show and although Mickey talked there, it was a recording. Then we went to meet him at his house and he did not talk. We were looking for the talking one so we would have seen him, I think, if he was there. My dd stood in every line to see Mickey-ugh-even in Main Street and never did see the new talking one. Maybe he came to his house later in the day?

I must say though that all of the characters looked really great. They were so clean and fresh looking and no dirt, not even on Pooh who shows the dirt first. We did Plaza Inn breakfast and Goofy's kitchen and all of the meet and greet spots and every character was in tip top shape!

I remember reading a post on the disney blog by one of the official staff members and they said that was only a test run and it is still in the VERY early stages of development, he probably won't be in any parks or shows for at least a year, probably longer. I'm trying to find the post now...

Well, of course they were clean. Pooh, Mickey, and friends DO bathe and wash before meeting their Park visitors everyday. Doesn't everyone before having Guests?

As for talking Mickey, I'm with Jh87. From the various things ive read, I believe he is only in limited test appearances atm.

I don't disagree that it was a test. There is a stage show at WDW where they use this, but that is not an intereaction so it may be all preprogramed.

I'm just wondering sinc they did this in early may if it has been shown again. I'm thinking that again we are getting to the off season and they may want to run more live trials.

They used the talking mickey head costume for the WOC premiere that was streamed online. Was cool to see it in action!!
