Anyone Remember When... - Memories From Early VMK

Ahh the good 'ole days...

I never knew there was a bug witht he fireworks, but I was never good at it so I avoid it at all costs.

Oh! Nedding! LOL Our cute little dictionary...I was really mad when i found out you get 20 credits no matter how high you score!

And to answer the 'how did you find out about VMK?' question, I was looking online, earching on google, and clicked a link. Then all of a sudden, a little spaceship came out of no where and little people came out! Then I clicked it and it brought me to the very old homepage! LOL Now that I think of it, That space ship and the people looked pretty funny!!

I remember what I got really mad about, was when I FINALLY submitted an application to become a CL, and answered the questions they sent me, They changed the VMK homepage, with a totally different look! I was so upset because one of the questions said something like "How do you find the help section on the homepage?" and I gave a VERY detailed answer, and THERE they go changing it a day later! LOL It makes me laugh now!

its ok, I wasnt with DISers during beta. I was still the original lava boi but for a different group of peeps WOOT!

I didnt find any dis peeps until I met Mickeysmagic and Tishke in a trade room. I was trying to talk Tishke out of her gold set and then she wanted a yellow dress. Sometime in early August I bet

so I had to get her a yellow dress and we had alot of fun watching me make a donkey out of myself in trade rooms LOL. I was telling all the girls in yellow dresses they should wear the pink dress because the yellow makes their butt look to big LOL.

Yes, I am one of the lucky ones too, whom also spun the right number back on that Halloween 2005 day! I even remember it had to be a 4. I sat here with friends in IM, as we all waited as much as 8 hours to get into either the host room for that game, or one of the instances of Castle Forecourt, for the outfit contest. There was no "fast pass" then either, so there was nothing you could do. Thank heavens for both IM and the DIS boards! (All that ranting about DC's that we all needed to express! )

I remember that after waiting all night to get into the host room, once you did everyone had to dance or wave occasionally otherwise you would get dc! And even then it was no guarantee Also remember when the maze opened in Frontier Land and we all spent hours trying to get to the top of Tom Sawyers? OMG now we can all do it in our sleep I'm sure..I also remember the days of 200 guests in the Kingdom..that was awsome!!

Most of all I miss the Pirate Costume Magic bug that let you keep the twinkly stars around you after changing clothes from the pirate costume. It was really great pretending that you found fairies in the forest.

I remember when you would go play falling chairs and people would start trading you like crazy so you lose and so its over faster! ( now you can turn the trade off)

I miss the sparkle person bug thingy. It was so much fun to walk around with "Fairy Dust' surrounding you.
