Anyone own just 150 points for a few years and have found it to be enough?

We originally bought 200 points, and then did a 25-pt add-on a few months later, before a price increase. Unless we win the Lotto, the price per point is now beyond what we consider feasible for our income, esp. with a kiddo recently enrolled in private school. An add-on isn't going to happen. ;)

Our points will afford us a one-bedroom for a week in Adventure or Choice season each year. We've already decided that if we want to take any additional trips (again, this doesn't look like it will happen 'til ds is out of school), we'll stay at one of the non-DVC resorts, hopefully with a discount. We love the different WDW resorts (even the All Stars), so while we'll miss the extra comfort of our DVC home, we'll still be having a great time!

We've had 180 points since 1993 and have enjoyed every minute of them. Learn to bank and borrow. It doesn't bother me to borrow a year ahead, I'll just be finished with DVC one year earlier, but what a great time we've had!!! We've taken the 7 day cruise, stayed at OKW for 2 weeks through Christmas and New Year's, exchanged for the Plaza in NY, etc. We've gone down sometimes more than once a year, but have been down at least once a year. We're all paid up as of July, 2003. All I need to pay are my dues for the next 40 years or so and I'm going to Disney or anywhere else my heart desires. Enjoy your points, use them well and don't get stressed over not having enough. You'll work it out.

We bought 175 points, and though we won't be going home for the first time until June, our points will allow us to get a 2br every other year during peak season. Even though we've been to WDW once a yr for the last 3 yrs, realistically, we will only need to go every other. Unless my DH decides he'd like to go every year, I don't see an add-on any time soon. I'm content (for now) with what I've got and happy that we could afford it.

We have had 150 points for 3 years and it's working out great. We usually go every year in late May/early June and if it's just the two of us, we can stay for 10 nights in a standard BWV studio (usually get the teacher rate at the Swan/Dolphin for the weekend). If we take friends, we can get two studios for 6 nights.
This year we're doing 5 nights at BCV, the weekend at OKW and 5 nights at BWV. I can't wait!
