We originally bought 200 points, and then did a 25-pt add-on a few months later, before a price increase. Unless we win the Lotto, the price per point is now beyond what we consider feasible for our income, esp. with a kiddo recently enrolled in private school. An add-on isn't going to happen.
Our points will afford us a one-bedroom for a week in Adventure or Choice season each year. We've already decided that if we want to take any additional trips (again, this doesn't look like it will happen 'til ds is out of school), we'll stay at one of the non-DVC resorts, hopefully with a discount. We love the different WDW resorts (even the All Stars), so while we'll miss the extra comfort of our DVC home, we'll still be having a great time!
