Anyone on the Wonder on May 5, 2005

Haven't gotten mine yet but.....our TA just called to tell us we've been upgraded from cat.7 to 6. Hope that's a good thing .

krystyana, Are ya'll doing the land portion first? Where are ya'll going to be staying? It is getting cloer and closer. More real now. We have Documents in hand and the day is almost here.

We're doing the land part first with an extra day tacked on to the beginning staying at the Beach club.....are you doing the land/sea too?

We are doing our "own" land sea type vacation. We are going down on the 3rd,(cant believe I dont remember where) and going over on the 5th, then will probably spend some of Sunday at DTD.

Did anyone know that there is a launch scheduled at Cape Canaveral Air Force Base for 5-4-05 between 6:20 and 7:05 PM. If you are staying in Cocoa Beach the night before the cruise, then you should be able to see the launch.

I got a call from my TA today. Our cruise documents are in.

Have you gotten your documents yet LA?

We are getting more and more excited. I have gotten in the "cruise moood" as misti calls it. Got documents in line, extra papers we need. Got Dom a new "floatie" type swimsuit. Still cant decide about the amount of "princess" dresses to take with us. She loves to dress up. Found several mix and match swim tops and bottoms for me.
Waiting impatiently on May 3rd to get here.

Yes I have my documents. I think I have everything that I need. I finally found a cover-up for my bathing suit yesterday. That was the last thing that I needed. Now all I need is for the time to go by faster so that we can go!! I'm so anxious. We can't get any more excited around here. Is everyone else ready? Are we still going to meet? How will we know each other?

Hi all! No docs here yet. I keep listening for the UPS truck. I am fighting my second round of laryngytis during the last three weeks. I really need this vacation but am very worried about getting sick while away from home. Really worried about flying as I am run down and tend to pick something up from aiplanes too often. Will call the doctor to see what he says might help.

I suggested meeting at 3:00 o'clock in the Promenade Lounge on 5/5 in a previous post. Is everyone up for that? What people on previous cruises often do to recognize each other is pin lime green Mickey ears on themselves. You can get them from the paint dept. at Home Depot. I will have mine on. Don't be afaid to come over and say "hello".

So, is this a good meeting time for everyone?

3 pm in the promenade lounge sounds good to us. dominique will have on a cute little dress and I will have on something, probably a lime gree t shirt. Or maybe my hurt your eyes green Ladypoo shirt.

The 5th at 3pm sounds good to me too. Will this be a problem with any activities required on the first day? What time do we have to do the life boat drill? You can tell it is my first cruise. lol.

I'll try to get by Home Depot to get the paint chips for the meet.

The life boat drill is at 4 o'clock. This seems to work out well for a DIS meet because it is after lunch and before the drill. Not too much going on then. It doesn't interfere with any activities that I am aware of. Also the Promenade Lounge is quiet and it is easy to find people.

la37, this may be your first cruise but if you are anything like me it sure won't be your last! I became obsessed with Disney cruises after my first one. You are going to have such a great time!

so promenade lounge at around 3pm? we will have on our green castaway cay t-shirts. misti's is white.

I'm so excited. I just can't wait. I read the boards everyday and that is just making me more excited.

we are waiting patiently for the days to zoom by. We are about to be stress free for at least a week. Come on May 3rd.

Ladypoo, you said it..."stress free"! That is what I love about cruising! It is absolutely impossible to worry about anything in the middle of the ocean. We are doing the land/sea so will be at WDW for 4 days before the cruise. That is great too, but the cruise is the icing on the cake. Great way to relax after WDW.

Still no docs. Good thing I called to check on them yesterday. Somehow they got lost in the shuffle. The excuse they gave me made no sense whatsoever. Oh well, they said they should be here today so no harm done.

Hi all,
We are also sailing 05/05/05 and will meet in the prom. lounge at 3:00 on Thurs.
as long as I am not overwhelmed and forget to go!!! We actually sailed "The Big Red" boat over a decade ago so I don't know if we should consider this our first Disney Cruise or our second ???

we are doing the parks before the cruise this time. last sept we did the cruise first and then the parks. we were exhausted when we got off the ship and slept all afternoon. barely got to EPCOT in time to see Illuminations. We are so ready.
We have been kinda stressed to the max these last few weeks. So Look out
"Wonder"ful cruise here we come.
Hopefully everyone can start doing their document dance. i know we did.

I just talked to DCL and the movies that are showing now are Around the World in 80 Days, Finding Nemo, National Treasure, Ice Princess, The Incredibles, Ladder 49, Life Aquatic, Mr. 3000, The Pacifier, and Pooh's Heffalump Movie. I don't know how they can show that many movies in 3 days. lol. I have a feeling that I will be busy doing other things and can see movies at home. Although, if my neice wants to see a movie we probably will. Whatever we do, it is going to be great.
