anyone on the board in the syracruse area?

Goofypop....Paul will be working up there next week for five days. Does anyone know any good restaraunts/hotels in the area?
Pin trading going on?


NY CITY is his next big stop....how about there?

They're are some great traders in the Syracuse area. I'm sure they'll take good care of Paul while he's up there. I used to know lots of good restaurants but it's been so many years I'll have to defer to the current residents for that.

Now when is NYC??

we are looking at 17th to the 29th for NYC....that isnt set in stone yet. He is in the construction business and the jobs arent always ready when they are supposed to be. Thus explaining why one month he is gone a bunch then home for several without any travel at all. Feast or famin....

He did tell me he is booked in a hotel in Jersey and will drive into the city each day. So does that give you an idea of the side of town he will be on. I have never been to New York City so I have no idea at all.

Told him he better take some pix for my scrapbooks

And if he gets together with any traders oh boy watch out..I may have to take time off to travel with him....

Well there are alot of traders in New Jersey. John Rick keeps track of their meets. He has a web site at http://www.pinclubs.com/ .

He doesn't have any meets scheduled for those dates, though, because he is coming to CT for our big Fall Foliage Meet October 19-20. There is a notice about that meet on John's web site, too. If your husband wants, he can join us in CT. It's not that long of a drive.

When will he be here? We don't have any meets set up right now. Maybe we can pull one together. I know the store is starting to trade on Tuesday nights. A handfull of people show up on Saturday mornings about 10am for the pins (The store is in Carousel Mall)

Well we are part of the pin group that meets in Syracuse -- we are actually about an hour away, but we are always up to a pin meet. Just let us know when.
