Anyone notice this......Just checked refurb schedule

I was wandering around Disney's site and decided to check the refurb schedule for September. Notice the TOT has changed from September to October. I thought I would just let everyone know.

Disney-MGM Studios


Magic of Disney Animation will be closed for refurbishment
September 30, 2003 - November 23, 2003.
Rock 'N' Roller Coaster will be closed for refurbishment
September 7 - September 14.
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ will be closed for refurbishment
October 13 - October 18

I also noticed that the magic of disney animation dates have also changed.

Wow, that's great news for us. Since we are going in Sept and Oct., I knew we would have some issues with some refurb., but lucked out on these. Where is the Disney site regarding refurbishing?? or is it Deb Wills' site that you are referring. I'm still venting that the September hours have been changed again and cut out water parks on the weekends--only one to choose from from Fri-Mon. Now I have to rearrange my PSs.

You can find refurb information on the disneyworld site. When you are checking hours look to the left of the screen on the list of choices. Choose the park FAQs, when the questions pop up look for the attractions currently closed. It should be the 4th or 5th question.

Yep, they recently update the dates slightly(to dates that my site had for a while )

I may be mistaken but mgmstudios.org lists the TOT dates differently than disneyworld.com

Magic Kingdom® Park


Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other popular Disney characters will appear in three-dimensional animation at "Mickey's PhilharMagic Orchestra," a new attraction scheduled to debut in 2003 in the Magic Kingdom Park. This attraction will replace Legend of the Lion King, which is now closed to help prepare for this new attraction.

Big Thunder Mountain will be closed for refurbishment August 24, 2003 - November 22, 2003.

Our dates are slightly different because ours includes days when it will be partially open, as well the fact that the Disney site is usually pretty slow on getting updated

So the dates Disney states, does that mean both sides are going to be down? I'm sure with my luck, I'll be there 10/10-10/14 and was planning MGM last day. Back to planning.

The new rehab schedule for TOT is terrible. I loved the orignal rehab schedule and it gave them 2 weeks extra before my arrive just incase. Now I'll only have a few days to ride and then BTM is down also. I think I need to change my dates or not go at all. There ain't not reason to go if I can't ride TOT daily. I'm depressed now.

shewwwww! We get there Oct. 24 so we'll mis BTMRR & Animation (which is one of my favs). Hopefully they won't change again.

The Swiss Family Treehouse refurbishment originally scheduled for August 3 through September 19 has been postponed until September 7 through October 24, 2003. More information to follow in the upcoming weeks.
