Anyone make an in Park Character lately??

Could you please post up to date info on what you receive for the guide....

this is the info I have now, has anything changed????

SPECIAL PERKS for setting up your Character at a Disney PARK
1. the Disneyland Pin 5/9
2. regular Black Mickeyears
3. you get a VMK logo and the tag Born at the Park
4. Retro Penny Press( I did not get the Penny Press when someone made my Character at DL I got a Retro Turnstile)
5. clothes Pick the Mickey Head T-shirt,white shirt with red cicle and mickey face inside it is the same shirt you get when you purchase a shirt at Sir Mickeys(thanks tip provided by lovethattink)
6. 200 credits
7. Rooms you choose from the 4 here Space, bayou, tiki and boot hill then you get the one you choose and boot hill, tiki, mad hatter and nautilus. Thanks to lovethattink for update info!.

I'll check mine when I get back home today from day camp, but I belive you get born in park badge, black ears, turnstile (green), disneyland 5/9, and five rooms including the one you choose. I'll check the room when I can

You DO get the turnstile, not the penny press.

There are also LOTS of shirts that are not available when you create a character at home. (if this is something you want to make a note of...)

We just made three characters at WDW this past Sunday. For doing this, each character got: the Tiki Room, Boot Hill Shooting Room, The Mad Hatter's Room, the Submarine Room, a Disneyland Pin, a Green Turnstile, 200 credits, black Mickey ears, and the 50th shirts.

One other thing to note, while we were creating our characters, DH and DD got a link to a survey. I didn't get the link. Anyway, the link stated that if you filled out the survey you would get 200 credits. When they got to the survey page, it said they would get 100 credits for taking the survey. DH and DD filled out the survey and then the page stated they weren't what the survey was looking for so they weren't eligible for the credits

and if so what rooms are available to choose from?

In the end do you still end up with a total of 5 rooms per character?

Mal, you still get to chose a room, but I didn't add that to the list so basically you get the four rooms in addition to the one you choose. I don't remember exactly which rooms were offered because we just went through the room offerings once and then chose the Mad Hatter, but if I am remembering correctly, they were the same choices you get if you make your character anywhere else other than the parks. Hope this helps

This is the message is got when I created a character yesterday at WDW.



You also get one other guest room of your choice when creating the character. I did not write down the guest room choices. If you need that for the guide, I can go back and do another person.

I made a character about an hour ago and yes, the message is as Goofer says

The choices of room are: the Bayou room, the Space/Rocket room, the Mad Hatter Tea party, & Malificent's fortress. There might be one other, but I can't remember.

i went the weekend of july 12st and created 6 characters. the one thing that happened on one or two of my new accounts was that i got the space room!! total shock to me!
