I watched this movie last night while decorating the tree.. I always end up in tears at the end.. it is such a clever movie - my friends and I quote it year round!

Elf has supplanted The Christmas Story as my new favorite Christmas movie.

I agree. Elf is an instant Classic.

My favorite scene is when he trys to put the star on the top of the tree. I laugh out loud everything I see that.

OMG!!! We all love this part. We were just at the mall the other day and walked past santa sitting in his big 'ol chair... and of course, this conversation had to pursue...

Me to DSIL: Hey, there's Santa!

DSIL COMPLETELY out loud to me: HEY, I KNOW HIM!!!

Gave quite a few people around us a good chuckle.

Our entire family (4 year old DS included) loves to watch and quote this movie often. DS4 likes to re-enact Buddy covering his eyes and running into the bathroom stall.....

Other than that, our favorite part is probably "I'm here, w/ my Dad, and we never met....."
