The announcement is supposed to come at the end of the meeting, after the Q&A. Jay Rasulo still has to do a presentation, and Andy Mooney mentioned someone else. Plus the Q&A
O.K., all these nostaligic testimonials from happy park vistors are nice....to a point.....then again, WHAT IS THE POINT!??! Oh, it's promoting the DVC - yeah, as if this guy goes to OKW so often he knows everybody there "by their first name...."
high impact marketing. closer realtions with our guests. entering new markets targeting vacation preferences and geographic regions. creative new ways to enhance the disney difference.
very scattered applause for Wishes almost none for M:S and i only mention cause its like he paused for an applause. He called California the GARDEN STATE HEY IM IN THE GARDEN STATE
Jay is making me sick.....according to him everything in the park and resort division (MY key focus of what the "management story" is) is wonderful.
- No mention of the declining quality of the park experience and lack of investment at Disneyland, in fact, he is implying that R&D at the parks is at "historic" levels.
- his annoying use of the DISGUSTING term "high impact marketing"
- Oh, wow, "A Bug's Land" and "Lucky the Dinosaur" is being described as "one of six major new MAJOR attractions at Disneyland."
I could go on, but the denial is too depressing.....
Is it good that a character meet & greet (Stitch) and Lucky the Dinosaur are listed in the list of 6 attractions opened in CA alone? Shouldn't an attraction be something offered more than a couple weekends and then removed.
