Anyone know when the fire pit at CR/BLT is supposed to be added?

When we stayed at Jambo last May, we really enjoy being able to sit around the firepit. (We planned to do the same thing at Kidani but the weather didn't cooperate when we were there).

I heard there will be a fire pit area added to CR/BLT.

1) Anyone know when this is supposed to be completed?
2) Does anyone know where the fire pit is supposed to be located? Just found the answer for this from the DVC annual meeting reports..."2010 - complete lighted jogging trail - ~1 mile, add fire pit near marina"

We just came back from BLT last Thursday and every night they built a fire pit on the beach to roast marshmallows. It was on the south beach and they did it about an hour after dark. There was a movie also shown near by on a huge inflated screen about the same time.

Yes, the fire pit is there at BLT, it was below our room on the south side, on the beach. We did not see it used, but it was on the schedule in the room to be used.
