Anyone know when Jetblue will release Sept flights?

We are planning a end of september trip and was just wondering when we could book. Do the flight dates usually come out on a certain day of the week? Is it good to get flights the first day they come out? We will be going from Newark to Orlando.

Not sure when Jetblue will release flights but I do see $217 inc taxes from JFK or LGA with Delta.

It is driving me CRAZY as I am also going in September and waiting for airfare for that time. Southwest is coming out with their fares on Jan 22 so I was thinking Jetblue would do the same. We shall see!

According to the release thread on flyertalk, JetBlue released dates starting in late September last year in February, so it'll probably be another few weeks.

I checked my emails, and last year I bought my early October JB tix on March 7th, which was the day they extended the schedule through 10/29/11. I think that released included at least part of September as well. We bought the day the released our dates because we were locked into our dates due to a PIN and it was Columbus Day weekend so I figured we better go for it.

Does JetBlue take other airlines into consideration? SW is opening up their booking window on January 22nd. SW does not fly out of Newark, BUT it does fly out of Philly. Since I am close to Philly as well, we are wondering if we should book SW so we can plan the rest of our trip and plus I hear that booking early is helpful in getting cheaper rates (I know that is not always the case). I would hate for SW to open up on Jan 22 and I wait until beginning of March for JB and then SW is cheaper.

Any suggestions on what to do? Would you wait for JB or just book SW if the price is right?

I like JB and SWA almost equally (I prefer the TVs and assigned seats with JB but love that SWA has no change fees so it sort of comes out as a toss up for us). If I found a price and schedule I was happy with on SWA I would not wait for JB personally. Good luck!
