Anyone know what the height restriction is for RNR Roller Coaster @ MGM

My 5 year old DS loves roller coasters - he is 45 inches tall - we are very close to booking a trip for Oct and want to make sure he is tall enough for some of the big rides.

Sorry hate to tell you it is 48!

Its an intense coaster that is worth the 48 inch requirement.. My son was 48 inches last time we went and he was impressed by the force/velocity of the coaster.

I have a 47 1/2 inch daughter... I know your pain.

Do you know of any others that he wouldnt be able to go on.


If his ride experiences are very limited maybe I will forget about October and just add on a few days at WDW before or after our DCL cruise next summer.

The only other ride I saw that was 48 inches was Primevil Whirl at AK. He should be OK for everything else at Disney Theme parks.

It helped us plan for our DS who is 5 and is already 49.5 inches.

If its only 2 rides thats no big deal - as long as I know he can go on the majority of them - thats all I care about.

We had to bribe our DD, she was nine at the time, to ride RnR...it took thirty bucks and the Disney Barbie but that's another story for another time. Anywho she was just at four feet at the time and the shoulder harness swallowed her! I kept looking back to where my DW and DD were sitting and all my nine year old was doing was scowling...yeah it wasn't amusing to her but we found it rahter funny to see her head lost in there. She got rattled around a bit during the ride as well which wasn't amusing at all. So I think even 48" may be something of a stretch if you don't want to have to worry about Aerosmith laden head trauma.
