We currently have a PS for LTT, but we have 2 more people joining us for the party and we can't get a table for 6. So I'm trying to find out what we can expect for counter service places on the night of the party.

I've already checked on CP, but it sounds like that won't be open for the party. So that leaves us with counter service places.

Any experts out there that can answer this one? I called WDW and they didn't know.

Thanks in advance!!!
Pam

According to our 2001 souvenir program the following were open:

Pecos Bill
Pinocchio's
Casey's Corner
Cosmic Ray's (I don't think all of the windows were open??)

From personal experience I know Pecos Bill's was open as DW & I split a burger very late in the evening. It almost seemed healthy after all of the trick or treat candy we'd been munching on all night. Have a great time at the party!!

I had the same question... So CP is not open during the party just LTT, as far as character dining goes?

Wow, did a CM tell you that? I have a PS for LTT, but was planning on calling tomorrow to see if I could change to CP. I know a lot of other DISers have the same thing in mind. So can you tell us what you were told? Thanks.

I'm sure you've called by now....but I got a 5:45 ps fpr CP on Oct 3rd which is a MNSSHP night! The CM said there were up till 6:45, so I guess it is open late;)

Well, I did call and they had availability for my party of 5 at 4:30 or 5:15. Unfortunately, the CM said that we would need to use a park ticket in order to get in for the PS, whereas at LTT we can get in with just our MNSSHP tickets. So, I stayed with LTT. Oh, well!

Thanks for the list Bruce!!

I was told by at least 6 different CMs that CP would not be open late that night. I did snag a ressie for the CP at 5:15pm, earlier then we like to eat, but it's better then nothing! LOL

I did check on several places. The Plaza is accepting ressies up until 4:50pm. I was told they were taking ressies for CP up until 6pm. They also told me that the only "sitdown PS" place that is open during the party is LTT.

We did cancel our LLT ressie for the 3rd. It's for 4 people at 6:15pm. So if you're still trying to get one, it may still be floating around out there.

I also had checked on Chef Mickey's for the same night and they are booked up and only have a few tables for 2 around 5pm and a larger table for 6 at 8:45pm.

I don't know what's up with Chef Mickey's, but I had a heck of a time getting a dinner ressie for the time frame we're there. I've never had problems getting into Chef Mickey's! They are also almost booked for Saturday the 4th.

I have a sinking feeling the first week of October is going to be very, very busy!

I think it may be busier than last year due to the FTP but still better that a summer time. Chef Mickey's, LTT, and CP filled up so fast because people want to eat at the park right before the MNSSHP. It may sound like it's going to be very busy because of the PS times going fast but remember the restraunts only have so much room for each time slot. In my opinion Chef Mickey's has alwasy been busy due to it being one of the most popular ones to eat at.

Thanks for asking this question Pam! Thanks Bruce for posting the list. I was wondering this too as we will most likely just eat a quick and light dinner before the party and get dessert as we trick or treat!! :)
