Is it possible for you to use any other airports? Southwest Airlines is a good budget carrier into Norfolk, and AirTran is a good budget carrier into Newport News/Williamsburg Intl'l. Airport (about 1/2 hour from Norfolk).

we got really good rates out of Omaha to Orlando on NWA.com
We leave May 8, and the rate was 144 each ticket. That made it possible for us to drive instead of driving.. : )

Just dropping in to say you are traveling to MY area of the world

NN/Williamsburg Int. is a nice small airport! Not that it means anything. I am just proud of my little airport (live 5 mins away).

Where in Upstate NY are you? We are in Herkimer County, about halfway between Syracuse and Albany. We used to always fly out of SYR but their prices have gotten high. Last fall, we chose Rochester because of low prices with Airtran and now in May, we are using ALB because of low Southwest fares. If Albany is feasible, I think I have noticed low fares into Norfolk using Southwest's DING. You might want to look into it. HTH Rebecca
