Anyone just back? Lovebug report?

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

Panama City is about 6 hours from Orlando, in the panhandle.

We've noticed a steady increase in bug sightings around here the last few days, soooo...

The flights (what their swarming is called) last about a month and a half total, maybe? It's bad for 3 weeks, maybe?

I will say that it doesn't seem as bad as last year, I remember thinking that the air went from no-bugs to black with them overnight. Not nearly that bad, for now.

I got back on 9th September and am pleased to report absolutely no love bugs were there during our stay. Just some large butterflies and dragonflies.

lovebug. Not much in the way of bugs at all as a matter of fact. I saw a few dragon flies, that's it!

I am at POR right now and haven't seen any Love Bugs at all...tons of frogs though, LOL

I have seen a few DIS signs (one on a car, I left a note) and one in the window of a room. I am in building 17, if anyone has any Riverside questions, I will check back in a few days.

We check out tommorow....so sad!

We were there for nine days last week and we did not see a single lovebug. Saw lots of dragonflys and lots and lots of butterflies.

We're about 1 1/2 hours east of WDW & we've had a few lovebugs in the last few days. I was keeping my fingers crossed that they might just pass us by!!

Counting down quickly............gonna see in a few days!!

We just got home a couple hours ago, and not a single lovebug sighting in 9 days at WDW! in fact aside from a few tiny spiders on our balcony the only bug we had to deal with was the one that we all caught in stages throughout our trip...achoo!!!

But no lovebugs yet! I hope you have a great stay. We did!!!

I live in NW Florida and this afternoon I saw the first pair so far this year...never did see any in May very strange

I just came back yesterday from a 9 day trip and my report? I've seen about 4 bugs in those 9 days.

So, I guess I have to ask this -- have they EVER not come ??
We'll be there September 29 - Oct 5 and I'm thinking it's prime time for them.

I think they come out late Sept. We were there 9/23-9/30 last year and all I can say is .... HORRIBLE!!!
