Anyone just back...how are the crowds???

I was Universal july 10-14. I found those places to be very crowded. My Universal days were HOT! Thankfully, we stayed onsite and had front of the line.

I was at Disney July 14-21. The weather was a lot "cooler" (80's on many days) than I expected. There were a few days with an overcast and that really kept the humidity down. The last couple of days brought light morning showers. It was a blessing in disguise because we didn't break a sweat on those days. It was crowded, but we avoided the EMH parks (except for 1) and got on everything pretty quickly. Longest we waited was 15 minutes (used fastpass for long lines).

On my arrival day we went to Epcot, which happened to be the EE day. We got to the park at about 11 am. I had never been on Mission Space and wanted to try that out first thing! I should have known better and stayed away. Did you ever see a 45 minute wait for Space Ship Earth? I think I did back in 1985. Anyway, we got a fast pass for MS and did a few attractions at Epcot. After that, no more EMH parks for me!

we just got back today. went to epcot sunday and mk yesterday.crowds in both parks were very manageable. mk was definitely more crowded then mk. my advice is to get there early. we were at both parks by 8:00(they both opened at 9:00) at epcot we went to imagination and we were the first ones there! we got into everything quickly and with no crowds. yesterday at mk we went straight to frontierland got on pirates,big thunder mountain immmediatley no waits same with haunted mansion. also when the crowds started coming we used fast pass for peter pan, winnie the pooh(which broke down twice!),buzz lightyear and jungle cruise. fast pass is great!even though mk was very crowded in the afternoon we had no problems getting on every ride that we wanted to go on.
