We will be leaving for the 'real' World at the end of the month and my obsession is going into overdrive! I am hoping the weather will be warm enough to swim. Sooo hows the weather?? How should we pack~ do we need jackets at night?? Pants?? Thanks for the infor! Hope your having a magical time! :wizard:

Currently it looks like it is in the 80's with high humidity but it is supposed to get cooler (the 70's) and a little less humid on Thursday and stay that way for a little while. At night it does cool off a little but isn't too bad.

By this weekend, the highs will be in the low 70s and 50s overnight.

My dad called me from FL last night and said it was in the 80's and they were sitting around the pool....

Considering the current temp of 21 here in Minnesota, 70's sound good to me.

3 days and counting !!!!

It';s funny because I live in SW Florida where it was 84 yesterday and quite frankly, I'd love to see some cold air smash through. I could sure go for some 40 degree nights!!!!!!!

Thanks everyone. Can I ask a dumb question?? Is it still swimming weather in the 70's?? I mean at least during the day.

We're going on the 25th of Nov and I have been checking accuweather. They have a 15 day forecast...of course alot of that will change by the time it gets here, but their temps are pretty close. :wave2:

The weather at this time of the year is completely unpredictable in Central Florida. There are days in Nov/Dec/Jan when I have used both the heater and the air conditioner in my car in the same day!! Today it was in the mid 80's...very warm. By the weekend, it is supposed to be in the 70's with a lot less humidity. Sure you can swim and you will see a lot of people from up north in the pools! Would I swim in this weather, no, but I live here and can swim in the summer when it is absolutely unbearable! However if it does drop into the 60s during the day, you probably aren't going to want to be swimming. ;) Wish we could predict the weather here at this time of year, but it's virtually impossible. I'll keep my fingers crossed for your trip :)

Take care.

Hey, that will be me swimming! It is snowing today, and I can't wait for some heat! BRRRR
Thanks for the update!

We just got back and were swimming every day. We did have jackets at night though, as the night air can get chilly (esp for the kids) ... Have fun!!

Thanks, I appreciate the Pixie Dust!

At 4 pm today it was in low 70s and raining and the effects of the latest tropical storm will be in on Monday and Tuesday with more rain and the balance of the week looks like it will be cooler than normal.

We will be heading down there in the morning, and are planning on swimming even if it is chilly! The pools are heated, so just have the towel close by and you will be just fine! It is cold up here in Indiana as well, so we are looking forward to some 60 and 70 degree days! I do hope the rain moves out quickly though. We were chased out by Arlene in June and Wilma last month so we have had our fill of huricanes this year and we don't even live there!
