Anyone here work/worked for Weight Watchers?

I'm thinking of applying for a job with WW. I have been within my BMI healthy weight goal for over a year now (although I am still trying to get a bit lower), so I have met that requirement. However, even thought I have been "doing" WW for 3 years, I haven't attended meetings or been doing it online. I last attended WW meetings probably in 2004 or 2005.

Do they ever hire people who haven't officially hit Lifetime?? If not, I am considering joining WW online for the last few pounds, just to be "official".

Any other advise about applying for employment with WW? Thanks in advance.............P

While I have never been employed by Weight Watchers, I know that our last leader decided to leave because she needed to earn more money. I wonder if leaders get paid based on the number of people in their sessons/groups.

I haven't worked for them but when I made lifetime a few years ago I got a card in the mail asking if I would be interested in a job with the company. I wasn't so I didn't respond. I don't know if that is the only way they recruit though.

I work for WW as a receptionist. I made Lifetime in 2008 and pursued the job on my own. I contacted someone at corporate and went from there. I do enjoy working for them but I have to admit the pay is not all that great. I know they will hire only Lifetime members or those very close to their Lifetime goal. If you want to work for them, I would recommend joining an actual WW meetng, not online. Get out there and be seen at meetings, get to your goal and make Lifetime. You really need to be living the program (and it is changing on Sunday) to work for them.
