Anyone here have TMOBILE?

Pre-paid Tmoblie $30/month for unlimited data and texts and 100 minutes/month. I spent some $$$ when I purchased my Samsung Nexus Galaxy directly from Google (untethered), but it made me happy to buy a phone that wasn't tied to a carrier.

We have had TMobile for over 10 years. I love them! I have been treated very well by TMobile. We have 2 free Android phones & 3 free new non-smart phones. We have an inhome 4G booster that boosts our smartphone signal somehow. This was also sent to us at no charge. I have only purchased 1 phone in all these years. I have been treated more than fairly & won't be leaving anytime soon.

The service for us has always been great, but I've never in my life experienced customer service as awful as theirs.

T-Mobile service has been fine for us, but I miss my iphone. We'll switch when our contract is up.

thanks, i meant straight talk. I think i want to try straight talk w. my unlocked iphone 3g....
We use straight talk with an unlocked att iphone 4s, $45 a month ($49 with taxes and fees). The only thing we can't get it to do is picture texts, but that's easier to make happen with older versions of iphone, and since your phone is unlocked it should be no problem to change the settings to make mms work.

Ugh yes. My dad has to call every month to remind them he canceled my line as I no longer live in the us. And yet, every month my line is still on the bill.

I've generally been pretty happy with T-mobile. Speaking broadly, I can say that their coverage is not as good as AT&T or Verizon, especially when I get far from the city. However, in my case, where 98% of my time is spent within 10 miles of Boston, I'm very happy to not be paying the rates charged by either of the former. When I added my fiance's line to my T-mobile account, I did have some issues that took a bit of effort to resolve, largely the result of the in-person sales associate being a bit of a doofus from what I could tell.

Both our phones were brought in ourself, and are not carrier locked. Going forward, I don't know that I'd ever get a phone directly through a provider again, as I like the flexibility to switch if needed. We have 1000 minutes, unlimited texts, and 2GB of data each (data still works beyond that, is just slower), for $90/month. For us, it's a good deal.

Hmmm I find it impossible to get MMS on my 3G iPhone running on StraightTalk, everything else is fine. I figured it'd be easier to get MMS running on a newer iPhone.

I have gotten mms working on my 4s by using the tmobile sim swap method. It takes a little bit of monkeying around. My phone was the most difficult of the 3 we have done. I think we tried for a few hours before they finally started working. I followed that wiki and some YouTube videos.

I switched to the T Mobile no contract plan in Jan. Great so far. I had been usuing Virgin MObile since 2006 but never had good coverage and was tired of it and swithced to t mobile and I have great coverage with them. I have to call their customer sercie i few times and they have been great.
