Anyone here have cricut carts but no machine?

Okay, this is kind of a crazy ? But tomorrow QVC is debuting the new cricut 2 that comes with 2 cartridges (Printing Press and an exclusive qvc one called Cuttin Up) and pens that go in the cricut. I'm kind of thinking about ordering the set and selling just the machine on ebay. But I'm not sure if anyone would want a cricut without any cartridges.

I thought someone here was collecting carts when they were on sale but didn't actually have the machine yet. I don't know if I'm remembering this correctly. Anyway I thought that if this was the case that maybe we could work out a deal. The advanced price is only $229 so it's not bad. But I definitely don't want another machine.

Is this the new machine that cuts 12x12? If it hooked up to the computer to download fonts I'd be all over it.

But to answer your question, yes I think you could sell it. People usually buy more cartridges to go with their machine, so I think some people wouldn't mind a bargain without a cartridge.

I am one of those crazies who has started a small (6) collection of cartridges for a machine that I don't own. When Michael's put the carts on sale a couple of weeks ago, I couldn't believe the price, so I got rainchecks on all six. They came in and now I'm waiting for the machine. With my birthday today, mother's day and anniversary in the next couple of weeks, I'm bound to get this machine soon!!

I think if you try the Cricut before you sell it, you will be hooked. And you can get great Disney cartridges for it. I saw it at ACM demo and I bought it a few days later, I love my Cricut. I don't know if I would have bought carts first because as soon as I get a cart I have to play with it.

This is sooo me, I think the only more addictive than Disney is my Cricut (or maybe a close 2nd haha) Love My Bug!!
