My family is flying from Salt Lake in October and I was just wondering what airlines people have flown and what kind of prices they are paying. Right now the cheapest I see is around 380 per person.

It is too early to be looking for airfare from SLC-MCO in October. By using the Travelocity flexible date search you can see the lowest available fare in $298 but it is only offered through June 9th. I would book your ticket 2-3 months in advance but don't expect rock bottom fares. $300 to fly across the country is not a bad deal

We live in Idaho and always fly out of Salt Lake City! We always fly Southwest and last year paid $312 round trip. We go in Sept and usually fly sat-sat. southwest doesn't have any non stop flights to MCO, Delta does but is much more expensive and charges for bags. Good Luck. We will be booking our flights as soon as SW releases the fares for Sept (March 23)~

We go to SLC and got $99 each way SLC-MCO and back. It was just a very short sale on SWA.

We use to take the Delta Non stop when we had all the sky miles but not just take SWA to Denver, grab a quick snack and then onto MCO. I like the flight, connection, fares and 2 free bags each.

I noticed you were Idaho, Hi neighbor, we drive 3.75 hours to SLC, just what we do out here in the west.

We've done Frontier and American from SLC. I loved Frontier! We had a short layover in Denver but it wasn't a big deal.

I just purchased tickets on Southwest for $364 RT for August. If the price goes down, I will request a voucher for the difference. The price has gone up $10 each way since I booked last week. Delta was $440 plus bags.

We fly out of SL. Just returned from WDW flying Delta non-stop. $340 RT. I found fares about a month out for $240 but had already booked. We are going back in October and I will keep watching, but wait to book. We like SW but the prices were not good for this last trip. The direct flight was really nice.

Our car rental price also plummetted about a week before the trip.

We just got a GREAT deal. 240 RT/per person with taxes figured in already. this was through United.... We have always flown Southwest but their prices were outrageous for Sept this year!!
