anyone here do WW without meetings or online?

Am I correct that this is a thread for people doing Weight Watchers on their own at home? I am thinking of trying this as I have all the materials. I would love to hear your thoughts on the pros and cons and if you feel you have been as successful on your own as with the program. I'd just like to save the 30 a month or so it is if I can. I wouldn't probably have time for a meeting anyway and the online seems good for looking up things or the message board but the DIs has this. So thanks in advance for any input!

That is the intention of the thread- and that is what I am doing (I am not a "joiner" type person)- although there are a few people here on this thread that are official WW members (online or actual). So far, I find the support I need here. Please join us- you will get lots of support.

Welcome disneyrun:welcome:

Hang in there TenTHousandvolts:hug: It seems like we are all hitting tough times but if we keep up the support for each other we will work this weight off:)

:goodvibes You too- I'm here for ya! Here we go into the weekend- weekends are the hardest for me- :wizard: pixie dust for strength for ALL OF US- to have an OP weekend!:wizard:

DOWN 3 lbs!! I am so excited! I really needed to see that this morning!

How is everyone doing?

:cool1: :thumbsup2 :cool1:
Awesome!!! Great job! I am doing fine. My weigh-in is Friday, I am trying to get that pesky 1 pound (that I gained last week) off before then.

Nice job! As for me - maintaining. That's pretty much my goal right now. I'm very close to my goal weight, and I think as long as I can hold steady over the next few weeks I'll be doin' good! :thumbsup2

I don't currently have time for the meetings either. Just simply not enough hours in the day! :confused3 However, I do have my "official" weigh-in done at the gym on a regular basis. I check in with one of the trainers, and she does my weight & looks at my food journal, and monthly she also does my body fat anyalsis & measurements  I need to have that accountability or else I find it way to easy to let things slide....:rolleyes1

Well, I lost 1 pound this week. :) It's an improvement over the .25 pound I lost last week. Slow & steady I guess. I'm doing WW online & it's working pretty well. I'm taking my girls to the beach for a couple of days at the end of this week. :cool2: It's going to be a challenge to stay on program. Anyone have any suggestions? I won't be able to prepare much of my own food. I can bring some healthy snacks but for my meals I'll be eating out. I'm kind of worried about that!

THanks ladies!
Staying on track so far! I am going to make a run to the commisary for some more salads and veggies today. I know when my Dh gets home in 2 weeks:banana: it will be easier to eat healthy. It's just so convenient to make something quick (and not so healthy) at the end of the day when I have chased the kids my myself:scared: .
Onward and Downward ladies!!

Hi all! Weighed in Monday and I was up 1.5 lbs on top of the 2.5 last Friday so needless to say I'm back on the program. I haven't exercised this week although I've been chasing my kids all over the place as school is out!!!!! Its been rough for the kids - its only the 2nd day of vacay and they've been playing ok but have had some major fights as well. Summer vacation is such an adjustment for them (and me :scared:). Once we get in a routine it'll be much better.

We're going away tomorrow for a day trip so I'll try to be good! I've got to get back on track - I've done so well I can't give up! Take care all!

Onward and downward ladies.

At long last, the school year is finally ending for us.:thumbsup2 Today is the last day before our most welcomed summer break. :cool1: For me, that means my kids will be around watching everything that I eat :scared: I'm much more disciplined when I know there's a chance of getting "caught" snitching! :rolleyes1

Have a happy, healthy Thursday everyone! Remember to be good to yourself! :hippie:

I worry about everybody when nobody is posting- I know when I am getting off ttrack I tend to post less. I hope that isn't the case for y'all!

I did BAD on the weekend AGAIN. I do bad every weekend. I don't know what my problem is with Saturday and Sunday but it is serious. Oh well, I have been very good about staying within points Mon-Fri so even though I didn't count points- I will just call it my flex points and then stay on the straight and narrow until weigh-in on Fri. I have been managing to lose over the past few weeks even with my naughty weekend behavior so I am hopeful that I didn't cause too much damage.

I weighed in today and I lost 4 lbs!???! Weird - I think a lot of my weight gain last week was due to Tom so its probably just water flucuation (sp?) but I'll take it. So I think I'm back to where I was and I still need to loose 4.5 lbs to make goal. I haven't done well exercising - well if you want to include playing tag, bike rides & chasing kids I guess I've done ok. But not any weights - I was doing so well during the winter/spring.

Hope all is doing well. Congrats TenThousandVolts! Weekends are hard for me too but I try to stay busy (which isn't hard for me in the summer) & drink lots of water. For me it seems like water is so much easier to drink in the summer although I love ice tea & lemonade too.

Take care all & have a good day/week! Onward & downward!
Joanne

4 lbs! that is great. You are SO close to goal- you can do it!

I am up 2 lbs. Not surprised though. I was way of course all week thanks to that wonderful time of the month. I just can't seem to stay away from the chocolate. Also I have picked up my sweet tea habit so I have not been getting the right amount of water in either. Man, I am way off course.

Hang in there! That time of the month does it to me too - chocolate & my appetite skyrockets. I tried to stick w/lowfat chocolate pudding and well the meals I didn't do so well :rotfl:. I can pass on desserts anyday but BOY do I like my meals!

Today is DS7's 8th bday so I just finished frosting 20 cupcakes for his bday party tonight. I did ok - I didn't have a cupcake but occasionally my finger got some frosting on it and I just had to eat it - hahaha! Thats my excuse anyway.

Nervous about his party - we've always just done family parties so I hope everyone has a great time. Josh wanted his party at our local bowling alley and we're ordering pizza & we'll have the juice/bottle h2o & cupcakes so I hope thats good. I did buy party favors for all the kids that are attending so hopefully the kids will like it.

Take care all - off to wrap some presents!

Hey guys- I have been doing well. Somewhat proud of yesterday. We had people over to swim- (my sisters and half my nieces and nephews) I managed to stay within my points- it is usually hard for me to eat right when I go off my schedule- so that was an accomplishment.

Nice job! :thumbsup2 I also find it difficult when I'm out of my routine. Summer is quite the challenge for me!!! :rolleyes1
