anyone here do WW without meetings or online?

Congratulations everyone on the weight loss! Disneyeveryyear - I am also in your boat...I want to lose about 150lbs. My ticker is only my goal for 2007, so after that, I still have a ways to go. You can do it! :goodvibes

I weighed in tonight and lost 1.5. I guess that's good, but I was being greedy and hoping for 3! I think I may be retaining water though. Nevertheless, I will definitely take the 1.5. I know the healthiest way is to lose 1-2 a week. I just was hoping for more since it's only the second week. I did use all my flexpoints for the week. I don't think I EVER don't use most of them popcorn:: My DH and I ate at Pizzeria Uno over the weekend. I got the individual 4 cheese and a salad with FF Vinegairette dressing. I only ate half the pizza and intended to eat the other half for lunch the next day. Well....after I got home, I went to www.dwlz.com to see if the points values for Uno's were on there. I could not believe that the indiv 4 cheese is 56 points! :scared1: I was just glad I only ate half of it! I still ended up being able to have two pieces of it (1/3) the next day and stay in my points.

Well, I'm rambling. Congrats to those of you who weighed in already and good luck to those of you who haven't! :)

I'm going to be doing WW from home and I have at least 100 pounds to lose. Ugh...more like 130. :( It will be nice to have the support of other people who are doing WW at home as well. There used to be a website that let you do an online journal. Does anyone know where it is?

I received my new WW starter kit yesterday. I am going to sit down and refresh myself today.
COngrats in the losses!

Just reporting in - I think its been a couple of days. Doing ok - we ordered take out tonight and I only had 1 piece of cheese pizza and 1 breadstick. Thats really good for me - usually I get a loaded pizza and eat most of it. So I guess I'm making some changes.

The weekend is here - good luck ladies!

Onward and downward.

I always dread the weekends! It's so hard to stay on course!!

I scale peeked and so far so good although I will not claim it yet!!

Good luck ladies!

Hi Everyone :wave2: Hope Everyone is having a great week! Congratulations to everyone with losses this week and those who didn't just remember it's a new week and you can do this!!! :cheer2:

I went to my first meeting (for the 5th time) this time and I can't explain it but I felt like I "got it" for the first time. I have spent this whole week not saying no to myself like most diets but being able to eat what I want but watching my points. I feel like I got the lifestyle part now and I'm ready to shed this weight. NOw I noticed when looking at my journal that I am not doing too well with the good health goodlines so I made some changes in my eating for next week to make sure I'm getting all my fruits and veggies and milks. I'll check in Monday and let you know how I did but hopefully I will have a loss to report. :teeth: Onward and Downward WISHers. :)

The weekend is half over. We went out for Mexcian and I ate 1 and a half burritos along with some chips and salsa. I don't know how many points that was, but I hadn't used any flex points so far this week so I guess I'm okay. I'm going to have to be really good tomorrow so I'll have a good weigh-in on Monday. I'm a little nervous about this one because it's that TOM.

I am happy with myself- third day in a row I haven't touched my Flex Points- Tomorrow I am going to use a bunch.
I am also going to make a plan for the week, grocery shop, and precook a bunch of meals and freeze them to help keep me on the straight and narrow this week.
Good night all!

Hi Everyone :wave2: Princess Michelle it sounds like you have planned for all of your eating out really well. Great job!
This morning I made a breakfast burrito that was in the Meals101 that came with the new WW Starter kit and it was really good! The recipe was only 4 points but I added a point of cheese so for 5 points it was a great weekend breakfast. Hope everyone has a great day!!

Morning all! Thought I'd post in as DH is going to work soon. My week seemed to go ok - except the last 2 days I've gotten away from posting my meals in my journal. I've been doing a mental count which is easy enough but for accountabillity I need to write it down.

Not sure if I'll see a weight loss or not. I did do my abs/arms 3 times this week but the treadmill only twice. My back is really bothering me - DD1 (18 months) is 30 lbs and I think picking her up a million times a day is really the cause. The treadmill does make it feel better though - I just need the time. Well enough excuses - I'll try to do better next week. Its a new week!

Have a great day all and good luck on your weigh ins. Onward and downward.

We were in New York City this weekend.....and I did enjoy myself responsibly. Didn't "deny" myself, but ate in moderation. Walked A LOT...So, I'll take that as a success. :woohoo:

I was TERRIBLE about tracking my food this week! I am beating myself up over it! I did do 5K on Thursday and 2 miles today....baby steps, I guess!

I have purchased some of those Weight Watcher desserts in the freezer section of the grocery store. They are really yummy and satisfying! I also LOVE those Morning Star Steak Strips. I have cooked them and placed them on top of my salads...EXCELLENT!

LOVE!!

Beth

I lost 2.2 lbs. this week! That makes a total of 8.4 lbs. since Jan. 1. I'm going to celebrate by going to ride the bike.

ggeorgiagirl, DH and I would like to run a 5k this year too. He's in better shape than I am, but I'm working on it.

AKASnowWhite, we love to go to NYC. Did you see any shows? Did you indulge in any cheesecake? It is the best!

Onward and downward ladies!!!:grouphug:

Great jobs ladies!

Princess Michelle - Congrats on your loss. Way to keep yourself on track - you have such a great attitude! Keep it up!

Mom0299 - Congrats on your loss. I wish I could go for a bike ride - I can't wait for spring. It was 0 degrees this morning w/a high of 16 degrees. My Dad brought over my new snowshoes so hopefully we'll get some fresh snow to try them out. Snowshoeing is great exercise if anyone needs an outdoor activity. DS7 got some for Xmas too and we're going to go on some adventures. DH wasn't too thrilled about it so Santa didn't bring him any and DD4 wasn't either. DD1 is too young but I might try to put her in the backpack carrier.

Well - I only lost .5 lbs but I was expecting the rest of this weight to come off a little at a time. January's tally is 7 lbs lost. I'd say that was pretty good! I've been on the treadmill already for 30 minutes - I really wanted to do more but I need to take it slow and let my back heal. I'll work in some abs and arms today too. Really excited - exercising first thing in the morning really works for me - it changes my whole outlook for the day.

Onward and downward ladies!

AKASnowWhite, we love to go to NYC. Did you see any shows? Did you indulge in any cheesecake? It is the best!

We went to see our niece play at Carnegie Hall on Friday night. :cheer2: Then we spent the day Saturday doing "touristy" things. Ate the best Chinese food....but no cheesecake. :sad1: of course my body is not used to the sodium, so I'm holding on to a bit of excess water! :scared:

It's so much fun to get away....but now it's right back to work. Bathing suits are out in the stores and I cringe at the thought!

Well I only lost .5 but it is better than nothin'! I have not been eating so well. I plan on starting over this week!
I need to work on getting more fruits and veggies in.

Congrats on all the losses ladies!:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Hello everyone,

I don't know if guys are allowed to respond, but my wife & I have been on the points system since Dec 26th. She's down 5 lbs... I'm down 16 lbs. We're actually trying to drop a few for our WDW trip in March.

Are there any other couples losing weight together?
