anyone here do WW without meetings or online?

Congrats to all the losses! I forgot to weigh myself before I had breakfast this morning so I'll do that tomorrow and report in.

As far as meals for kids we eat pretty much the same but I try to cut calories in recipes where I can i.e. instead of real butter use low fat margarine; stuff like that. So no real good ideas here. One good thing that happened this month is I finally met my exercise goal that I pledged on another thread. So I am pleased with that.

It seems if I do well exercising I don't do well eating and vice versa. Maybe one of these weeks I can actually do both good!:laughing:

I blew it yesterday!! I binged. I went shopping and found Nestle white fudge covered pretzels and ate the entire container. I did this at the worse time!! I sneaked a peak on the scale the other day, and I was only 1 pound away from the half way point. So close, and I blew it over white chocolate covered pretzels. This morning, as you can tell, I hate myself for doing it. Tomorrow is weigh in. Guess today is major exercise day, UGH!!!

I think you will be fine!! I binged on McDonald's TWICE this weekend and still had a loss. It was just prestzels!! Drink lots of water and stay on track today! I will keep my fingers crossed for you:angel: ! Let us know how it goes. And don't beat yourself up too much. We all have our rough moments and weaknesses.:hug:
 
Hi my name is Tara and I joined WW online last night.

Today is my first day and so far i'm doing okay! hehehe

I haven't read through this entire thread, but I'm going to go back and look through it.

So if anyone has any advice or hints for doing it online I'd love to hear them!

Of course- we have some others that are official ww members but come here to give and get a little extra support!
 
Welcome Tara! Glad to have another on board! This thread has been very helpful for me...keeps me motivated!

Well I weighed in this morning (I usually weigh in on Mondays but forgot) and somehow I'm down 1.50 lbs. We'll see next week my weight might "fix itself". So anyway I'm 4 lbs away from goal...feels great! But I know the last 4 will be difficult.

I haven't been writing things down for quite a while...I need to get back doing that again. I like looking back and seeing what I've been eating and any patterns. Our WDW trip is 18 days away so my mind is busy concentrating on that and writing lists and lists. Getting nervous...I hate flying.

Onward and downward!

I tried really hard to eat right today. We went to the MK in the afternoon and ended up parking way out by the race track. Instead of taking a tram, dh and I power walked it to the monorail. Did the same for the return to the car. Of course, we did alot of walking at the park, but it was slowed down by all the people. It was pretty crowded there today.

TOday is my birthday and I asked for no cake. I know I will just scarf it all down:laughing: so we will see. My DD has a concert tonight so I hope that will keep everyone distracted!

The box of fudge covered pretzels didn't do much damage. Gained a pound, but now i'm more determined than ever. Those 2 pounds go this week, so I can get to the half way point!!

Thanks everyone who wished me well on my Last birthday!;) My Dh(not so dear) brought home a cake and Ben and Jerry's:eek: . BUt the best part is a whole day at the spa!! I am so excited. We live in a small town so they were booked til the end of May but that's okay. :banana: So I am forgiving him for the cake part:lmao:

I've had such a busy week, I haven't been *around* much....but I've been journaling again (kind of dropped it when I was sick...:rolleyes1 ) and doing well. The scale rewarded me with a 1/2 lb loss :woohoo: so I'm inching ever so slowly to my goal!

Well - the week is almost over and I'm not sure how I did. I tell ya this week was a blur. Its starting to get so busy between planning for our trip, little league and spring soccer, homework and school. Geezz the time is flying by so fast. Anyway I have no idea how I'll do on Monday weighin but we'll see.
Sorry I seem so "out of it"...I guess I need to go to bed!

I am one of the original members of this thread when we started back in January. I've been MIA for a while, but I'm back now. I started wanting to lose 25 lbs. I lost 12 lbs. and have been stuck there for almost two months. I think when you don't have an extreme amount of weight to lose it is easy to get complacent and think "oh, I'll just take a little break because I can get that weight off easy in no time." Well, I'm still here and the weight hasn't been coming off. I'm in need of some motivation from this wonderful group. I'm glad to hear that so many of you are doing great. Keep it up!
