anyone here do WW without meetings or online?

After 8 days of poor performance on WW I have finally climbed back up on the wagon- the past 3 days I have been perfect with points and excersise. Today I have to go to the office- so I am off to pack my lunch now- good luck to everyone today.

Off to another good start today- have meals planned for today and tomorrow- so I think it will be pretty smooth sailing for at least the next 2 days. I think keeping in touch on this thread helps to keep me on the straight and narrow. I was barely posting when I was doing badly (last week).
I am going to be in WDW in 3 weeks!!! I am so excited. Just DH and me. I know this may sound crazy for a gal on WW but we are doing the dining plan. I really want to make some headway on my weightloss before then.

Have a great day, all!

Posting helps me too. Have a great time at WDW- we leave in 24 days. Enjoy you vacay. We were going to do the dining plan but we decided against it - we're not too sure what to expect going w/3 kids so we wanted to be as flexible as possible.

Have a wonderful vacay and what a good motivator.

You guys are getting me a little worried about moving back to the east coast!! We leave here in 10 weeks:banana: We are looking for a house to buy and that has been a huge stress in our house!!

TenThousand, We are going to Disney in December and we also decided to try the dining plan. I feel better knowing that my meals will be paid for. I just need to try to keep myself inline.

The weather her is finally in the high 40's and 50's:thumbsup2 We are out everyday playing so I scale peek everyday and notice a loss!!! Heres to praying it's sticks on my official weigh in day:angel:

Dinner is a hard time for me. I am going to look up some new recipes:upsidedow

Onward and downward ladies!:woohoo:

I think you made a good choice- I did it with my 3 kids during free dining last year- it was too much with the kids. I like to be flexible and just go where the wind blows us on our trips and it just isn't possible with the DDP. It will be nice with just the 2 of us though.

How is everyone doing???
I am going to head to the commisary for some salad to help with lunch today. YEsterday I caned and had a PBand J sandwich with chips. There is something about chips where I can't stop eating them:confused3 So I am off to get some healthy food.

i didn't get to weigh in this week because i was at home and not near my special scale. i also didn't get the chance to go to the gym since thursday of last week. i went last night though and worked my butt off. time to get back on track. i've only got 2 months to lose more weight before my disney vacation! it stinks though because it's my tom.

Having a good day here! We have finally seen the sun - literally. It has rained here I think since Saturday or Sunday. We just came in from playing outside and I am really feeling the difference from last year. I have more energy and actually tagged my DS7 & DD4 when we played tag. Last year I couldn't even come close!

In the food department its a little sketchy...tom is on the way and my cravings have kicked in. Trying to make ok choices and be good but its hard.
Have a great day!

Wow! That is so terrific- and remember- they are faster this year than they were last year!!!

Yay! You are coming here in 3 weeks! I think you will do fine on the dining plan. Just remember it's about portion size. You can ask a chef for the nutritional info on the dishes you are selecting, and you can ask for sauces and fatty stuff like that on the side, so that you can control how much you eat. Just keep in mind, when you ask for it done special, it take some extra time. My dh is allergic to garlic and they prepare his meals without garlic. We are nearly finished eating til he gets his meal. But we are so thankful, they take the time to prevent him from getting sick on it. You can also look at the menus ahead of time, to help decide what you'll order. Deb's website has the up to date menus.

If you have any questions or need any maps or anything before your trip, I'm happy to help.

I rode the refurbished ride at the Mexico pavillion twice. Seems they are having break down problems often, hope they get the kinks worked out before you get here!

Okay guys I can't seem to find alot of healthy dinner ideas that my kids will actually eat!! We are going to make chicken kabobs tonight and they love those... BUT it it hard trying healthy food with 3 picky eaters!
So what do you guys feed your kiddos that is healthy and kid friendly?

I'm down another 1 pound....which is not the good news that it may appear to be :sad2: I've been so darned sick for the last 10 days, and my exercise has suffered tremendously. I'm quite positive that the pound I lost is all muscle, which I had worked so hard to put on in the last 12 weeks.

The good news is, the Dr. gave me some meds and I am on the mend, so I'll be back at it with gusto on Monday! :cool1: Until then, I'll continue to eat as best I can, rest and recover. (bah. I'm far to impatient for all of this! :headache:

Congrats to all you "losers" :goodvibes

More and more, I find myself preparing my own food separate from the rest of the family. Dh and kids are picky. My youngest will be 3 tomorrow. I find that cutting his food into little shapes helps. The disney owned site, www.familyfun.com often has good ideas for healthy food presentation. My oldest is 13 and he won't touch vegetables, unless it's in a soup. So lots of soup for him, lol.

The one thing they will all eat is chicken fajitas. We all just add different things to it. Instead of simmering the onions or chicken in butter, I use chicken broth. It cuts down tremendously on the points. I also use a lower point fajita wrap.

Sorry to hear you are under the weather. Hope you feel better soon!

I've been thru the "picky" stage with my kids - good news is, as they become teens they'll eat anything and everything :rotfl: Until then...good luck!

My kids liked things plain and simple. No sauces or spices, just plain food. Nothing "mixed" like chili or stew...so I always ended up cooking lots of stuff for ME with the intent of having leftovers that I could divide up and eat with MY meal while they had the same-old, same-old which they liked. I'd make extra brown rice, or a nice all-veggie, no point soup...and have that with the grilled chicken that I made for the family...if they have baked potatoes, I make mine a sweet potato. If I was making spaghetti, I'd cook them reg. pasta, and make mine whole grain. (make extra and just reheat). If all they'll eat is mac & cheese, try making it home made with all low-fat cheese, milk and whole grain pasta...:confused3 ...wish I had more ideas right now, but my head is still groggy from this nasty cold!

AKASnowWhite, I hope you feel better soon:sick: . I had a case of the 24 hour flu last week and I was miserable. But the good news is I lost weight that weekLOL. Hang in there and keep drinking the water to help avoid dehydration:hug:

I love the chicken Fajita idea. I always seem to forget things like that. I may also have to own up to the other idea of fixing "my" meals and "their" meals.

It's been a tough weeken. I had McD's for lunch today:eek: I need to rent Supersize me again!;)

Onward and Downward ladies!!!

I was not so good Fri & Sat - My flex points are gone- I am ready for today though.

:rotfl2: That movie is a sure-fire cure for a McD's craving.

Thanks! I do feel better, but not yet 100%. The worst part is that it's zapped me of all my energy. And I am one of those people who typically doesn't stop moving from the time I get up until the moment I fall into bed exhausted at the end of the day!

On a food note...we had tacos (of sorts!) last night for dinner. We put out bowls of "fixin's" and both shells and tortillas and let the kids buid their own. They've always loved that! I opted for a giant taco salad with mostly "free" foods, adding on refried beans and a sprinkle of low-fat cheddar on top. very yummy. Now...if I could just get back to exercising so that I could have those activity points again ;)

AKASnowWhite- Thanks for the taco/taco salad idea.
I am going to try to grill tonight- wee finally have nice weather here. Well- my weekend was bad- but I know I can do well this week. The weather will make it easy to do my 3 mile power walk every day so I will get 2 extra points each day.
Happy Monday, everyone- Make the most of it!:thumbsup2

I am down another lb which I am stoked about but I have to think how much better it would have been if I had avoided McD's:sad2: But at least a loss. I am back on track and schedule today. The weekends are hard because I do not stay on schedule!!
Onward and Downward ladies!:wizard:
