Anyone have to get a refund from Dr *REG.NET???

I am really mad.

I have now been on hold for almost TWO hours to get through to speak to someone about refunding the $49.95 that they charged to my account after I cancelled on 4/23 and AGAIN on the 4/27 since when I called in to cancel another one she informed me that the first one wasn't cancelled.

Have you had success with this? Or a better number to call? I am calling on 1-800-595-3986

Yes I have had to call them before with google and forex. That is the number I have for the corporate office you will probably need to fax something the showing the charge to get the refund. I called them in the afternoon around 3pm my time mst and got right through. I was told late afternoon for me and early evening for everyone on the east coast is the best time to call by the regular office for minimal wait time.
 
I had no luck w/the corporate office. They even said they were crediting my account & it would post in 5-10 business days. I waited & waited & then another charge came through. I called my credit card company & the Dispute Dept took care of it for me finally! They gave me the two credits & will contact the Reg.Net for me (again) to let them know not to charge me anymore!
 
GREAT...I did mine through that PayPal Virtual Debit Card...I am sure that I will get no where!
 

Well I FINALLY got through...the lady pulled up my information and was saying how I had three open accounts...interesting...ALL OF THEM I HAVE CANCELLATION NUMBERS FOR...GRRRRRRRR...she CLAIMS that I will get that one refund in 7-10 days...so it BETTER come. I am just glad that I am now using the Simon card...but I still worry that if I cancel and they don't have it in their system they will try to go to collections on it.

She told me that they are having issues with their system...well obviously!

there are a few companies that use them to bill. Right now I have 3 charges from them, all pending from paypal

59.95
39.95 Bankcard University

I dont know what offer the middle one is front. I cant find another that I did that woul dbill 59.95.

They 2 listed said they would issued a credit but we know what type of uphill battle that is

Well I just know that I have the uphill battle for a few more since now I am DONE doing them like that...thank you SIMON GIFT CARDS :worship: :worship:
 
Well I just went into my PayPal account...ANOTHER charge from Dr*REG.NET for $39.95...so obviously they are just going to keep charging!!

I am calling them now and then I am calling PayPal to see if I can cancel the cards!!
 
Well again they show that it was cancelled and yet charged me...this is NUTS...again I should have a refund from them in 7-10 days. I just cannot wait till they go away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So if we call they corporate number.. they can find all open account for us?

MINE TOO...and I know there is going to be more of them...

They were able to find three accounts for me...all of which are shown as closed.

Today I got through in about 45 minutes...so better yes...but NOT good. I just want to be done with it.

I thought about calling PayPal and closing it down, but then I won't get my refunds...so I am stuck! SUCKS

did you get any 59.95 or 39.95 charges?

WHATEVER...I had one for $49.95 which was for the Grant Consultant and then another for $39.95 which was for the Google Money Kit (I think that is what she said).

It just pi$$es me off that they have $90 of my money!!

Any idea if bankcard University charges under this also?

It looks like the one 59.95 is from earn google money/auction monster

but i don't know what the other 59.95 is..

I have narrowed down the 39.95 to either bankcard university or ebay for dummies. bid fuel

seems like many are 49.95
 
I am currently at 197.00 in charges from them wit so many phone calls it is rediculous!! My credit card company is stepping in now investigating and hopefully taking care of it. I have been dealing with this horrible company since March!!! Good luck
 
My 2 Cents...

I had two unauthrized charges also. I do not have any open trials right now. I have been so busy making last minute vacation plans I haven't had time to work SR and CD in a while, but all my trial offers are cancelled.

My bank (USAA), thank goodness, is wonderful about instantly crediting back the charges and then filing a dispute so I am not out any $$ at this point. But I have completely cancelled the card and ordered a new one.

I only did a few offers with this particular debit card, before I started using my Obopay Prepaid. It has to be one of these that caused the problem because these were th eonly ones I used this card for:

gMoney, Scholastic, Blockbuster, Cinema Talent, and Cinema Now

It seems to me that the least reputable of those would be the gMoney? I will do some investigation myself and get to the bottom of it, but when I call, I get transferred to 'corporate' where no one seems to work because they never answer than dang phone!
 
GREAT that is just pathetic. My only saving grace is that the credit card number that I used expires in 6-2007 so that doesn't give them long to keep racking up the charges. I might have to go to PayPal about it...all of this just puts the proving on why I am only using my Simon card for things like that!

You know what I thought about last night Schachteles, after the month when that paypal virtual debit expires.. what happens with credits? If we are still fighting them a few weeks from now I wonder if the credits will process back to our cards.
