Anyone have recent good/bad experience with Alamo Vroom Vroom code?

I tried to do online check in and it said next to the additional driver the $9.95 a day.

Wait till you get to the exit booth to add the second driver and tell them you are an Insider member (bring your card, if you have it), they will waive the fee. Did you reserve by logging into the Insider site?

My insider number was added after the fact. I called and added it. Maybe that is the issue. I do not have the card. I am assuming they can look it up if necessary. So should I compete the online checkin? After I do online check in will I still have to visit the kiosk?

Just checkin online, write down the Insider number and bring it with you. Add the additional driver at the exit booth. No, you will not have to visit the kiosk if you check in online. Just go to the garage, select your car and go to the exit booth. Have your licenses, and credit card along with your print out ready to show the agent. Also, have the add. driver in the car.

I tried using the code last month in Fort Lauderdale. I was told that the code was for people with International driver's licenses.

They matched the price but could not include the CDW as they said that Alamo wouldn't honour it.

I used it at MCO on 8/21-8/27. No issues. They did want to charge for the additional driver. I complained since I am an insider member and they added my husband.

You are supposed to be considered international. Maybe the agent thought Canada was part of the USA.
