We made reservations at rack rate for a split stay AKL/Contemporary this coming Christmas. We were able to convert the AKL to AP rates.
Our reservations for the Contemporary were for Magic Kingdom view and to this date, we are still not able to convert those to AP. We are not willing to give up the MK view (garden view was available at varying times). Our check in date for the Contemporary is Dec. 22, 2006.
Anyone else have any luck converting reserved rack rates to AP? Any advice on how to make this happen at this late stage?
Also, a general comment/question: We go to WDW every year for Christmas/Holidays. Never before have we encountered so many problems with respect to getting the AP discount we want, the ADRs we want, the Candlelight processional package (shut out), the fantasmic package (way too early) - anyone else getting the same feeling this year? Or are we just having bad luck?
