I have Henckels....and I did a friend a favor by letting them do a demo here. I really liked these knives...the handles, the warrenty, and the way they just work!!! my Henckels are like 16 years old...so I ended up buyine some!!

anyone here have them...how do you like them?? did I make a mistake?

Love them. Have had them for years and my mother ALSO has had them since she was first married. Her Cutco knives are 50 years old! When I finally found someone who was selling them, I ordered a ton and haven't regretted it....

Right after graduating from college my sister sold Cutco for a while. I sat through her demo and grudgingly forked over a bunch of money to buy some knives. I have to say I LOVE them! They are the best. They seem to be worth the money, though I am not a knife expert by any means!

well, being I am still in school full time and working a small part-time job...I just contacted them for some summer work!! so If anyone in my area wants a demo........just let me know!!!

We have cutco knives, and have had them for over 20 years! They are wonderful! In fact, we had one break, about ten years ago, and cutco replaced it for free. They really are fantastic knives.

My brother was selling Cutco knives about two years ago. I thought the price was pretty steep, but since it was my brother and he was working hard to make some money, I decided to help him by buying a set of kitchen knives and some extra cooking utensils. My DH almost flipped when I told him how much they cost, but he reluctantly agreed to keep them to help my brother. Well, I am really glad we decided to keep them because they are great! They are the best knives I have ever used - they stay super sharp, they clean up easily and the cooking utensils have notched handles, so if you use a slotted spoon (for instance) you can sit it against the side of the pot you are cooking in and it will not slip into the food - plus the handles will not melt, even if they accidentally come in contact with a hot burner on the stove! I highly recommend Cutco!!

I love love love my two Cutco knives...the small paring and the trimmer...makes for much easier dinner preparations! We hope to expand our Cutco inventory soon, maybe get the Table Knives. It's expensive, but worth it! The time I save using my trimmer versus slaving away with another knife is phenomenal. It makes a great gift too!

OMG!! I have the funniest story about Cutco knives.
When I was in graduate school I was broke like most students. A friend of mine asked if he could come ever and "practice" his sales pitch. He did not want me to buy anything (yeah, right!) but practice.
Well when he was through w/ the dang pitch he most certainly wanted me to buy the stupid knife. Long story short, I bought a $40.00 knife from the guy and was so mad at myself as that was a lot of money to starving grad student.
Fast forward 20 years and I still use that dang knife everyday to cut my carrots and celery snacks I take to work everyday. It is just as good today and when I bought it.
I was just thinking this morning that that knife was one of my better purchases ever... :cool1:

hey Coral....I have a set of knives I would love to show ya!! :rotfl: :wave2:

I too have a set of CutCo knives. A good customer's son was wanting to do a demo, The pressure is high, and you really can't say no. I bought the basic set. My DW (who was not with me at the time) loves them, and didn't really know what they were until a few weeks ago when my nephew got a job with them for the Summer. Needles to say, I bought the rest of the set from him, and informed him that he should have their website associate my account with him now (blood is thicker than water). He was unaware that they sold direct to the public, so was his superviser. I forwarded him the previous months sales letter (which by the way had what I purchased on Sale for $150 less than I paid. PLUS, since I was his second presentation, I didn't get all of the free stuff I should have. What bothered me is that they should have done something for me, but the wouldn't. Good Products, but the way they treat their sales staff is not as good as it could be. Yes, I am a little disgruntled...I think I may call them...:jumping2:

We love our cutco knives, and they really stand behind their guarantee. The scissors are absolutely the best tool you can have. I have 3 of those.

I bought my Cutco knives about 20 years ago and they are still sharp and the best knives I have ever had.

OK, I just got off the phone with Customer service; I got $135 back. AND I was told it didn't effect his commission. I was also told that his superviser should be aware of the website sales.....I will have to call him later and tell him...

Thanks for starting this thread, I am glad it gave me the gumption to call in...

PS, Hi Geffric!!!:wave2:
glad to hear that worked out for you!! I was just reading your post on here!
I just ordered mine last night...and they already have been shipped out!!

now I need a date to cook dinner for!
;)

I also love my Cutco knives. I think it's time to send them in for a sharpening (which they do free - just pay the shipping). But I don't want to part with my knives long enough to have it done!

(BTW - I hate their hard-sell tactics!)

So...are you selling your Henckels...? I have never heard of Cutco! Would love to check them out!

Ummm, how does "E-BAY" Sound????

I have a set that I bought 35 years ago. They're still great. My daughter's friend was selling them a few years ago, and I was finally able to purchase the "fancy" steak knives (fake mother-of-pearl handles) and cake froster/cutter to use with my good china and silver. Watch out for the steak knives...they're super sharp!!!
